Title says all. It closes right after i press PLAY on the launcher. Any ideas for a solution?

Same thing here,
no error message,
firewall is down
windows xp
i've redownloaded the launcher and I was not a CBT1

some who have had this problem have had success uninstalling then reinstalling

I had been playing for about 2 weeks without any problems and now this exact problem is happening to me too. It came about right after updating drivers for my Radeon X800 video card. Would love to continue playing this game as I am quite hooked, any help would be much appreciated :)

I had this problem on my laptop. I updated my video card drivers and now it works fine.

Do you use a firewall? if so turn it off or let it allow outspark. They block the game from launching.
Do you have the latest version of DirectX 9.0c?
Vid card drivers up to date?
Meet minimum requirements?
Using a firewall or answering NO to any of the other 3 questions can cause the game to NOT launch.

Ive tried all of this as well as installing it multiple times, still not working, any ideas?
