Lol i used the def scroll, vitality scroll, evasion scroll, and aim scroll. Beat it on my first try, you just have to watch your HP. Way easy if you have a cleric use Endure on you. Kill the Giant Stone thing in the final room first, then the guy Marlone, then the girl Archer. I had another 3 stone things spawn on me whle killing my clone, but they're weak.

thats how i won (did u try unequiping all ur gear b4 u enter so ur shadow has no armor or any wep, then when he shows up re equip all ur gear)

Yes, unequip all the armor and weapons. If you're mage, your clone will have nothing to use but punches! ^^
Unequip them before you enter and quickly equip everything again when ure in the dungeon, and then unequip them after fighting the marlone guys. Later, equip them again when the clone appears.

these people have it all wrong. (no offense)
this is what i did:
1. took my weapon off before going in
2. had a vitality scroll
3. took everything one at a time, like the kebings, you can pull one. ALSO: when the room goes black and all you see is the blue light, dont follow the light, search around that room and you will be able to find the archer in a corner, and the fighter on the opposite side. just fight them one by one, then go into the next room. start attacking your clone, but kill the stone guy when he comes at you, you should be all set.
I also had a good amount of pots and stones
hope this helped and good luck

I didn't have any trouble doing the job change quest.
I just had a vit scroll and 20 HP potions and I succeeded the first time.

Dont take your weapon off, because while it's on, the clone has to cast spells, which have cooldowns. If it's off the clone can just keep punching you.

um, all you really need is a vit scroll and HP pots and Stones ... you have to watch your HP at the end thats the big thing. If you get a buff from a Cleric then youre set. You don't need to do this unequip business it just makes killing take more time. Be efficient in killing targets at the end, and have to make sure your hp is up all the time. I dont know what else to tell you =\

I used a vit and def scroll and all the HP stones I could hold and beat it first try. Reading over the guide and keeping calm helps :D

Never had trouble doing this quest for all classes. Vit is enough and stock up on stones and pots. Keep pots at more handy slot if you have to, the KEY is to watch your hp. Take on the skeleton and kebing one by one. In the end, run up to the stone and stay far from your clone, spam all four skills should kill stone, take out the archer thaen the fighter.

for me... it was the easiest one... I just used def scroll, T2 vit scroll, Aim scroll, Magic scroll, few potions and stones and Wóla!

I dont get it. I have been through the class change quest 5 times successfully already, all with different classes (twice with clerics) and NOT ONCE have i ever needed to fight anything after the room turns dark. Now I have seen many guides where people mention you have to kill those enemies when the room turns dark but it is just easier to skip them.

The key to winning is to bring both pots and stones. Trust me, you'll need both!

i did mine for 2 times now......because i deleted my first mage(stat problems xD).
1. Use M.Def,Def, Vitality and Power scroll and if you see any lvl 50+ cleric ask for a buff.
2. before you enter use the scrolls, make sure your hp and sp stones are full and you have 50 xtra hp pots. unequip everything before you go in the dungeon and wen ur inside equip it again.
3. because your shadow has no weapon and armor, he/she can not attack using magic but punches. punches=1DMG or MISS.
4.it won't be hard for you if your Magic Missile is on max cool down.
5. kill everything 1by1 on your way as you pass. when you reach the dark path kill both marlone fighter and archer.
6. before you go at the end of the dungeon stop for a moment and unequip everything again and den while unequip continue on following the blue line and w8 before your shadow appear. wen ur shadow appears equip everything again and don't mind the stone mobs cause they don't hit that hard, so just continue attacking your shadow until you finish the job change.
I hope I helped ^_^= If i helped please press the reputation button ^_^
GOOD LUCK !

alright, i went at it a little different. I restoned and scrolled up (vit, power, sheild, aim), then i asked a cleric to End buff me. when i went into the dungeon i unequipped and re-equipped but i didnt worry about anything other then my clone. i did nothing but watch my hp while hitting all my spell hotkeys. when my hp dipped down i hit a hp pot, then a hp stone. beat it first try.

Used def and vit scroll. I bought 50 hp pots with me i ended up using 10 and 4 stones. I used a lvl 10 green staff with some small bonuses. Beat it 1st try.
No clerics were high enough to buff and it sounds a little over kill anyway. Extremly easy if you know what you are doing. Keep you hp above 300 at all times and you'll win no questions asked. If you do lose then you should change class.

The unequip and equip thing isn't really necessary. If you lost w/ an Endure and Vit/Mag Def/Def scrolls on...then you just really need to learn how to use pots and stones. >.>

Oh yea, one more thing, seems like using pots and stones is a basic skill, but I was watching my little bro play once and he didn't know how to do it correctly. Don't use an HP pot/stone RIGHT before you die, use it at the point where it recovers your health to almost maximum value, but not completely because then you wouldn't be utilizing it to its max capabilities. Stones heal about 3/4s of your health so use it when you're down to about 1/4, and pots are pretty self explanatory since they tell you exactly how much they heal. SP is pretty self explanatory as well, no need to really rush there.

7 STR, 28 END? Oh man, unless you're going for a solo mage (still, that 7 str is a waste of points), you might want to consider restarting your character, and having a look at the guide stickied in the mage forums while you're at it.

Like someone stated earlier. First, talk to your Skill Master, yours would be the mage, the one in Elderine. She'll give you a quest, kill the Boars as instructed, return to her, go to the guy in front of the pond like she will ask of you, kill Phinos/Greenkies until you find the key, then complete the quest. :]

I thought about the cool down thing too. So what I did, I put on noob gear and weapons. Went in, equipped the good stuff I had, my scrolls I used Shield and HP boost only. Then I fought her, she ran, and when i got to the dark room went around the edges and killed the mobs then went for her. Did it in one try, and it was easy. I was level 21. Good luck with it!
