Maybe I'm being slow, but is there anyway to improve the camera settings?
*I'm on a laptop so I plugged in my mouse to use the wheel to try to zoom out, but it does nothing. Most of all, it bugs me that the camera doesn't automatically adjust. Is this how it is or can I fix it?

I'm having this problem too, sort of, except I'm able to scroll out. (Have you tried using the vertical right side of your touchpad?)
It's really annoying to use the mouse so much, so if possible, could the developers look into changing the camera adjustment to a keyboard keys (like the directional arrows) or making an automatically adjusting camera?

I don't know why the wheel on your mouse won't adjust the zoom on your view unless the driver is not correct, a special driver is needed, or your mouse settings need further adjustment.
As for making it so that the camera follows you as you turn... There is no setting to do so.

I tried using the side scroll on my touch pad but it doesn't respond either.

Not sure what is up as far as your mouse goes, and I'm a little late to this so you might have it fixed now.
But I have to agree the camara could use a little touch up. It is a little annoying to have to be changing your camara all the time when running around. Maybe an option to have auto follow on or off would be good.

OMG yeah i was thinking the exact same thing. games that allow you to move using the arrow keys tend to do really well cause even if ur game is good if its annoying to walk around no will wanna play (examples world of warcraft, maplestiry etc.) or atleast ur camera should automatically follow your character
