I just got invited and I plan on making a Cleric. I see a lot of people are making hybrid Cleric's but I'd like a Cleric that is mostly party support and levels quickly (if this game works like others, normally Full support cleric classes level more quickly due to the fact you can heal people much higher than your level and get good exp).
I'd would appreciate any support builds you have.
Thanks <3

END and SPR would a better support build probably..but no matter you're build you wont be healing any more or any less HP,since the heal is a set amount that never changes until you get the next upgrade for it

If you're healing somebody many levels higher, you'll get terrible*(or*just*normal,*but*dangerous) exp. You can't really power level in this.

I haven't got to a really high level yet, but I'd think that SPR (and by extension more SP) would be a big deal to end-game clerics because longer fights naturally consume more SP. Generally, high-level mobs take longer to kill, and more SPR just increases your chances of being able to heal the whole fight (especially if you're the only healer and have to spread your SP over all the other players).

Thanks for the info guys. I don't know a whole ton about this game yet so I was wondering; What does SPR and END stand for anyway <_<?

SPR is Spirit and END is Endurance

Endurance*(END) increases hp and Spirit*(SPR) increases the amount of SP stones you can equip?

SPR increases your maximum SP and if I remember correctly spell crit chance.

Yes, exactly. There's really no choice between 'full support cleric' and 'battle cleric' - they have the same build.

Actualy you are partialy correct.
Spirit - Increases Max SP, Magical Defense, and Critical Rate.
--1 point increases Max SP by 5.
--1 point increases Magical Defense by 1.
--1 point increases Critical Rate by 00.20%
The above information was obtained from the link below.
Not that it is just "Critical" rate. This means ranged, melee, and magic attacks.*

Not exactly true. While their Heal skill will heal the same amount, the Support cleric will heal faster with better SP consumption while the Battle cleric will barely keep up with the damage.
I'll been able to heal 2-3x in the interval other clerics heal.

I am not sure what kind of cleric I would be considered by the masses but I consider myself a fighting cleric.
I've empowered heal to 5 on sp consumption as well as 5 on reducing the recast timer.
As for stats, I am:
+10spr
+1 Int (Mistake. I wish there was a confirmation when placing stat points. Stupid me)
+16 End (I think this is right. Currently lvl 22)
Sure it takes me a while to take down a mob but I use very little SP and they DO fall.
Note that this was not posted to contradict Nellshini.*

I'd consider you a support cleric, since without STR a cleric won't come close to the damage of the rest of the party.
[EDIT]] I'm pretty sure 1 SPR = +0.5 Mdef.

Funny thing is that STR is my highest stat. I am using some STR gear to supliment.

STR is my highest base stat as well, but with a +4 Lv40 hammer my Dmg is still beaten out by an archer 10 levels below me. You'll be outdamaged easily by anyone your level with no STR, and with the 10 points in heal it's much easier to just lend your help as support.

I think i'm going to go for about 30 end and the rest spr. I'll probably focus more on decreasing cooldowns on support skills and using less SP on support skills.
If the characters are wiped after beta, then I may see about going full SPR or trying a character out during beta to see how that goes.
INT is just the damage for mage isn't it?

"INT is just the damage for mage isn't it?"
Yes. Based upon what I have seen with my mage and heard from others the boost is minimal. I opted for a mix of the two stats with my mage favoring SPR.

wouldnt Int affect your magical attacks with cleric like the magical*Hammer skills and the mace skills that you get?
nellshini

It would, except there's nothing magical about those attacks.
TheMonty

Those aren't in themselves magical attacks, just enhancement to regular melee, so they don't get any magic damage bonuses because they aren't magic damage in the first place.
