Okay, i've decided to make a poll out of this. I'm thinking if premium items should be made permenant lasting or not? Or rather not permenant but the time is only used up when you log in your game account. What do you guys think?

To be fair to everyone with time limited items they should be based on time that are played...

A 30 day item would last forever o.o They will implement more permanent prem. items eventually.

I think it should depend on the time that is actually played. This would just solve a ton of problems. Server maintenance would not make people feel cheated that they were losing money and it would just be more fair in general. For those who only get to play once a week or twice a week, buying a weekly or monthly item is really just a waste. This way, everyone, no matter how frequently they played would be able to participate in the Fiestastore and premium items.

Hmmm. I prefer permenant item though. I heard other Fiesta versions has those permenant items. Btw, bump plz =D

90% of the people voting will do so because of greed - not what is best for the game. I think things are fine as they are.

Yeah well you have to think about those people who do not get to play everyday. For them, it'll be a waste of money.

Ok.. just wanna voice my thoughts =)
For timed premium items i believe it should be left as it is.. Reason being that 30 days is a really long time.. If you play only like 6 hours a day your 30 day item could last like 4 months?
Offtracking a bit, what i think needs to be addressed is the price of the perfect eyes/blue miles.. Since (on average) it takes about 3-4 sets of perfects to fully upgrade an equipment to +9, it does not make economic sense for most sparkcash users to upgrade equips themselves (for tier2/3 equips). Furthermore i feel that tier1 perfects are reasonably priced but why should tier2/3 be more expensive?
The silvers u earn in game scales as you level so t3 stones are more expensive than t2 stones.. Ok fine.. But t2 or t3 perfect stones serve the exact same purpose -- to upgrade your weapon, so i dont see the point of price differentiation. *maybe someone can enlighten on this aspect*
This in turn fuels an industry whereby enhancers would fill that void by offering to enhance equips for in-game silvers. In the most fundamental sense, this feels like trading in-game silvers for real life sparkcash (which is against TOS). Of course, i have nothing against enhancers... I love them even..
Another suggestion that i have is that perhaps +9 weapons could be introduced into the cash shop (and is non transferable). Say a level 50 +9 Easter Wand of Might or something.. Then a disposal bin could also be introduced (for the +9 weapon only).. Thus when the user reaches level 60 he could say dump his +9 weapon into the bin and get a 50% refund of his sparkcash for the weapon?
Think all that could provide some continual revenue generation for fiesta and still make gamers happy (i hope).
Therefore to summarize
(i) Timed items should remain timed regardless whether the user is online or off
(ii) If Time consumption only starts when user is online, make premium items last for say only 14 days (And people who vendor while they sleep would not like it)
(iii) Decrease price of tier 2/3 perfect red eyes/ blue miles.
(iv) Introduce upgraded special weapons into cash shop, and an option to dump them (since CS items are not transferable)
Finally just wanna point out that what is good for the game must be good for the gamers too :>
Sorry to hijack this thread for some offtracking issues and also for the long rambling =)

Just wanted point out that I do think that the item lasting 4 month IS good. Think about it. If you're not playing, why should your money go down the drain for nothing? You're buying the premium items to benefit yourself not to just waste your money like that. Unless there are prepaid cards, then the whole problem would be solved =D

I definately agree with time consumed only when logged into the game. It might not seem even on 30 day or even 7 day items, but on those 1 and 2 hour items it is Very reasonable request.
I know I have lost alot of time with the hacker problems, x trap boots, and general downtime as far as game wise. Real life Im married with a child, job, and other responsibilities and while this isnt Outsparks problem, I do spend my real life cash on the game, and if outspark wants me to continue spending my real life cash on the game they should consider real life factors in which affect our gameplay and use of those items.
The biggest one for me is the Charms of might from the tough cookie packs. Being a mage I LOVE them! They make life considerably easier on the game. But they last for only 2 hours a pop. Alot can happen in 2 hours especially for a mom. I adjust my playing times and try to only use them when my son is in bed for the night but things happen still which require my attention outside the game. Its very disheartening to just stick one on, then have to go 30 min later cause hes had a nightmare or something else in which requires my immediate attention and could keep me away for the next 30min- to whenever. And its just a waste for me each time it happens.
Being able to log off and attend to w/e incident I needed to attend to in real life and being able to come back and pick up where I left off would be splendid. I am all for it.

Outspark had a survey a while back and I believe it stated that permanent stuff will eventually be available....

i think it should be time online. 4 of my guildmates have CS items but their ISp is messed up. and has been for 3 weeks. They wasted their money

I agree...
Items that aren't even used and the time is being wasted... My friend, he had a lot of CS items on and he had that guild freeze bug. Wasted at least 1 week worth of 3 month CS items. Yeah, a lot of money. Plus, I was on my alt for quite some time and when I logged on my main, I forgot I still had that donkey on! >.< Lost about 3 days for that 1 week item.
Ok, a bad-side if you do that... Outspark would recieve less money to pay its staff. Since you are saving the time on your item, you would less frequently buy items from the shop. From that cause, items in the shop will have increased prices.
Think about it ;)

True, but imagine there is a bug or whatever reasons that waste your premium items. Some people would be pissed and would not charge sparkcash. In the end, there COULD be a financial breakdown because of this (no offence outspark =D).

xD I voted for time consuming only when logged. Perhaps to offset it might be to decrease the amount of time an item will last. And perhaps in units of hours, in which 30 days would be 720 hours. Less confusing. But perhaps with a decrease to balance it out, it might last 240 hours (10 days) instead. 10 days might seem like a huge drop, but unless you're afk vending, then that shouldn't be consumed so fast.
