Level 5 equip gloves bug!

After I drink the MP and HP pots, I cannot access the GEARS page of my inventory. Every time I click on that page, an error message pops up and the game quits! I tried creating another character but I get the same problem at that quest! PLEASE HELP!

Will someone please tell me what I should do to resolve this problem? I can't play past Level 5 because this quest is required for me to level...

I honestly haven't heard of that happening before. The only thing that I could say to try would be see if u can open gears before doing pots? Possibly try equiping the gloves first, and then use up the potions.
