What does the yellow bar on the slider mean?

I've been wonering about that too myself. after harvesting many things i*just*think its likea* critical chance. if it lands there youre more than successful at harvesting the product*

You can click it with your mouse. if you time it just right it will end the harvest successfully with a small chance of getting a rare( not positive the latter has been proven)It is similar to playing a Golf video game. got to time it just right.

You got to left-click on the bar ? Doesn't seem to do anything for me :(

Yes, you left click. Just keep trying, the timing is really tough, especially with server lag.

When it goes by try to time it right to get in on the little bar, if you do then you will get more items that you are harvesting (like with mining if you do it you get more copper then usual and/or rarer copper)


Atleast that's my guess, I've done it a couple times and thats what happened

i have been able to hit it twice, and it stoped, but i didn't get any rare items. i think even one of those times i got nothing.

Then doing so, You must hit exactly yellow mark, or right or left from them?


Is any difference in position of mark over the bar?

If you hit it the little line with sparkle and im not sure it does increase the chance of you getting anything since the first time i got it it didnt give me any loot. /sites/all/modules/tinymce/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-yell.gif

ive done it a few time with copper ores... 2 times i got nothing, about 3 time i got lq copper ore, and like twice i got topaz (the best thing i ever got), so i think it is more like immediately finishes the mining with a higher rare item success rate or something like that.

No it may not always give you something extra or anything at all. But lining it up right does give you a CHANCE of getting more items or rare items.

The main function of it seems to be cutting down on the time required to harvest. I've yet to get more/less from doing it where I landed on the line, or if I just let it go on it's own.

If you click it just right in ends the harvest faster, which I think may have the purpose of beating someone else at it (?). If you can get the hang of it, I am sure it would be nice when opening treasure chests and stuff like that after Events.... I dunno about it increasing your chances of getting items though, sometimes I get nothing when I manage to time it right....
