Leveling and quest

Im new here..so how do you gain a few levels easily? I am a Mage..and I know when I try to kill the slimes they kill me first..are there any quest you can do/spells you can get or anything? O_O

you start with a spell as a mage


press "K" to open your skills menu and drag the spell icon to you hotkey bar. then select the monster and hit the hotkey


you buy more spells from the skill npc in town

Stick with using your spells and don't use your staff. YOUR STAFF. Is NOT your weapon. As a MAGE, your weapon is always your SPELLS. I suggest that if you want to hit things with a physical weapon, then the archer/swordsmen class is better for you.


Check the skill NPC in town every other level to make sure that your skills are up to date. Just buy one skill scroll, right click it in your inventory, then you'll have learned a new skill. Then you can press K to empower your skills as well to enhance those spells like decreasing your cast time and whatnot.
