i think this game is only a boring copy of ragnarok online (RO)
everything looks same and the game mechanic is the same too.

that's only my opinion...

...fyi, SoS is the port of another (supposedly rather popular) Korean game called Xen Online/Xenepic and seeing as noone's screaming foul about that and RO then I can only guess that it can't be a direct copy of anything... Oo

I nerver played ragnarok online (RO) and because of that i really dont care if it a copy or not, i am sure there a lot of player like me in this game, and if you think it boring i dont even understand why you made a post you should just have gone to play ragnarok instead.

its possible that RO and Xen Online (the korean version of Solstice) use the same engine as a base, thus leading to a few simalarities.

The games themselves are actually diffrent

I was going to cut and paste my last response to an RO thread...but since I gave fire a xen stone last time, I'm not going to since I can't afford another :p. Here's a quarter though. W00t! I love to hate these threads!

I've heard that about every click-to-move MMO and people are always comparing online games...when I was on world of warcraft (on my noob ally) I happened to walk in on a conversation next to the auction house.

newb1: "lolz, this game lookz so much liek guildwars"
newb2: "yeah, look at teh human dance"
newb2 bursts into dance.
newb2: "just like the one on guild wars"

. . . so what?

Who cares if it's a copy of RO or not? Even if it was, at least this game's free to play.

I wonder, do people in the Ragnorok Online forums get people from Solstice coming in there saying "WOW, Ragnarok looks like Solstice!" The answer to that is no, I've even done my homework on that one too (although I must cite one thread I found that states that a game looking similar existed, meaning us, but it was started by an RO player... just wanted ot mention this b4 someone came to me saying "hey, Fire, you missed this!"). But not once do the RO forums get a thread like this... and I even used the SEARCH FUNCTION!! (ZOMG*** IS THAT? SEARCH FUNCTION? >O)

(whether my name implies it or not) I do not mean to flame the makers of these threads... I pity them in the sense that they do not have enough sense of decency and respect for a game such as ours to use the simple search function, where they would find 384737894687456 (oh, believe me, the quarter [and one xen] count is adding up) threads just like this exist...

*sigh*

and whats sad, is next week, there will be another...

till my next rant...

My god stop with these threads, go to xenepic forum and spam this idiocy there, as SoS is pretty much the English speaking version of that, so isnt a copy of RO, but of Xenepic.

Just because games have similarities(sp) to others doesnt mean they are carbon copies.
