I think I have decided on the white shadow for the emblem, my friend and I discussed it at school today (I can't believe this site hasn't been blocked yet...O_o), and he gave me some suggestions including that...

Okay, I've made some of the edits which have been suggested to me by different people...

I will now reveal Version II...*Suspenseful Drumroll*...

The main changes I made were as follows:
-Different Background
-Enlarged Guild Initials
-Re-spaced the Words
-Added a Gradient to the shield
-Intensified White Shadow
-Thickened Shield Border

This version is also much easier to scale down without it looking messed up...XD
I'm also thinking of adding a small secondary border...not sure yet though...

As always, please give me any suggestions you have to improve the design...:D

And another thing for all the guild members I will be able to help lvl and party with people starting wednesday I been really busy lately and when I do play I'm doing pet quest on my mage. I will try and do my best if you need help all you have to do is either pm in forums or one of my 2 chars which I will only help on my mage if your 66+ I'm not going to "powerlevel" you on my higher lvl char so you can just leech I dont believe in that you will have to put in work to lvl which is why i'm saying help your skills will not grow if you just sit, leech and do nothing but I'm here to help ^_^

My new hard drive came in so i'm back. However i won't be in game until tomorrow as i still gotta download the client. As of right now...Mordea is still the main guild master since you gotta be 66 to start a guild anyway. looks good so far. i think mayb the shield and wings could be a golden color and the text white or something or any color that goes well with a gold shield...if not then just the wings a diff color besides black.

Version V of the emblem is here...and I must say that thanks to some of the suggestions I got it looks even cooler than the last version...And makes sense with the guilds theme...:D

Changes are as follows:
-Wings and Shield Changed to gold...Dre's idea...
-Letters changed to white and given an etched/engraved appearance...Dre's idea (He is on a roll today)...
-Background Changed...Not Dre's idea :P...(started out as a sunset, but the black sun was more symbolic and looked really awesome...XD)
-Various minor edits to smooth/improve stuff...

on a more peaceful note, i'd like to say gratz to our newest member: imapunk69!! he passed his trial run today and i know he'll be a wonderful addition to the guild.

we are still having our guild meeting on Saturday. it will be the same time and place as it has always been. i might be on a lil late however i will try to be on before 9:00pm EST.

also i promoted T.Bone to Acting Guild Master just to make the guild for us if i haven't hit 66 by the time guilds come out (i kno i kno...i'm working on that).

OK, FELT THIS HAD TO BE ADDRESSED:

As you all know...A LOT of things have been happening with the guild recently. We lost quite a few good guild members, some of our leaders, and some of our squad leaders as well. With all that said and done however I had to make a real hard decision last night but I have no regrets in doing so. Why?? Because as a leader...I felt it was what was best for the guild and right now...the well being of the guild means A LOT to me. This isn't to say that Dre wont ever be ya friend and you can't come talk to me...because thats not the case. But first and foremost I am your guildleader and disrespect of any sort will not be tolerated. However that doesn't mean like i wont hear you out or anything...because I try my best to be fair. I don't expect you to agree with ALL the decisions I or the low council/squad leaders make. But just remember in the end its what will make the guild A LOT stronger. Heck you don't even gotta like all of your leaders...you don't even gotta like me...but if there's one thing I require of EVERYONE (high or low rank) its that you respect your leaders and eachother. If you can't do that...well you're better off finding another guild, because this one obviously isn't the one for you.

i'll be revamping the ranks, their jobs, adding a new rank, and some special jobs (specialities) that i feel will be real benefitual to us in the long run. i expect these changes to me effective in further strengthening the guild and to clear up any confusion regarding the purpose of ranks, squads,etc. we should also have a forum some time this week...i'll keep ya'll posted on that. i'll also post an updated donations page tomorrow because i still gotta give back the donations to those members that have left us. as it stands we are behind in terms of donations so we gotta work on that before the guild system comes out. also i won't be too active in game over the next couple of weeks (my finals are coming up real soon and i've been a lil slack with my studies.) i'll post all these things come thursday. also check the 1st page to see a link to our event calender. thx to Durin Kaine for introducing it to me ^^.

The specialty jobs all look pretty neat...Not sure entirely what each's specific duties are, but I have inferred what they probably are...:D

I have just one suggestion for the items each division has to donate to the guild. You have both the Syndicate and Ascension to donate HP pots, but no one to donate MP pots...It would probably be good to have each division take one of them to donate...
It gets ugly when we magic classes don't get our pot....xD

I'm going to add everyone to my buddy list probably tomorrow and at the guild meeting...But tonight, I must write lab reports!

OK Some Announcements:

First off I'll be away for a few days (thursday-mon) and most likely won't get back in game until tuesday. And yes I know...its right when guilds come out, but i'm going camping(think boyscouts) and have been planning these dates for quite a while now so meh.

We have run into a sticky situation so to speak. The guild limit is 25 guild members and we currently have 30. What I've decided to do might anger a few of you, but because of this we'll be doin re-evualtions of EVERYONE. The first thing we will be doing is choosing the guild's most crucial members. These people are set apart from everyone else b/c they've either been real helpful to guild members,bring something meaningful to the guild,donated to the cause,etc. So they will get "1st dibs'' to become guild members.

Once these ppl are chosen, then we'll be doing Advance Trial Runs. These will be a lot more different than the trial runs ya'll did previously and will be A LOT harder as well. A select group of individuals will be evaluating ya'll (via a checcklist of what we're looking for) and you will be given a rating based on a scale of 1-20. The people with the highest amount of points will be given the remaining slots within the guild and those ppl who haven't (sad to say i kno...) will be placed on a waiting list. Once we get information on increasing the member limit those ppl on the waiting list will get "1 dibs" on these slots once the limit has been increased. The only think I can say about what we're looking for during these advance trial runs...is what every good player should know about making them effective based on the class they play. And if you don't know these things by now...we'll then it can't be helped.

We're looking for efficiency here people...quality over quantity. I'd rather have a team of 10 of the best players than a team of 100 of the worst. As it stands these Advanced Trial Runs are being worked upon. I leave everything concerning the guild in the capable hands of the low/high council and they will have the FINAL say in all EVALUATIONS and their decisions will be honored by me.

I look forward to seeing all of you by the time I get back (onli 3 more lvls to go and i'm knight baby ^^!!). Good luck and best wishes to you all...lets make The Last Light one of the best (if not THE BEST) guild that Xen has ever (or ever will) seen (see).

Hello, I have a few things to say to the guild
1) The guilds money has been giving to kyo for save keeping, I didnt feel right with having it since it was only passed to me to give to the leader well atm the leader.
2) I'm swiching from my disc to my mage to be in the guild I dont feel right by just quiting the guild because of everything that has been going on its a lil to much its no type of fun what so ever and the only guild members i talk to was mordea, ron and dre since 2 of the 3 is gone and dre is really busy with rl its almost whats the point then I only see about the same 4 or 5 people at the guild meetings.
3) My bestfriend in s.o.s is back and she wants to make her own guild, I would of ask her to join with last light but its not enough room on top of it needs to be took down and redone fully.

Sorry TLL members but its just bad timing all the way around I would of held off this much longer or at least til dre was back but T leaving with no notice made things wrose and also since my mage is in the guild now sorry but no I wont make the guild at least not til Dre gets back.

Sorry about not being at the last meeting there were ALOT of rl issues and had to spend most of the night at my aunt's house till my dad got back x.x

tho you've signed u, it doesn't mean your officially apart of the guild, you have to do a "trail run" which is basically partying with myself and other ppl in order to see how well you perform in that setting. once more ppl sign up, i will pm you guys (and gals) to let you kno when your trial run is, what time, and where to meet. all that is discussed in my first post. 0_0...

Requirements:

Here at The Last Light, we have a few requirements that is to be fulfilled before we allow you to join. Note however, that just because you sign up, it doesn't mean you will be able to join. At the same time if you don't meet the requirements, it doesn't mean all hope is lost. For we have all started from the same common beginning, and therefore no one will be fully turned down.
First and foremost, in order to join you must be at least level 40+ by the time you decided to sign up for the guild. Why you ask? Pretty simple, by this time you would've been well prepared, training, increasing your abilities to better yourself. You would've fought valiantly against some of the worst monsters plauging the land of Xen. However, that doesn't mean that lower levels still won't be able to apply. More on this at a later date. Also you should be realtively active...yes we all know that we have lives and everything but at least try to log in enough to level up and what not. We are looking for individuals who will bring something meaninful to the guild. If you're not serious, being disrespectful to others, etc. then save yourself the trouble and stop reading this and go on your way. Lastly we will have to test your battle abilities, this means going to some of the hardest maps for a "trial" run. A trial run is basically fighting in a party with myself and other people. During this period you will be evauluated on how well you party with others. Do we have to remind you to heal, buff, shiled crash, repot, etc.
