Up until recently, I was using a GeForce2 Ti 64 mb graphics card. It played Fiesta fine on 1280x1024 resolution. The other week I upgraded my card to a GeForce 6600GT. Now I cannot play Fiesta for more than 10 minutes without textures going crazily distorted and stretched. Here's an example:

I realised a few days ago that my power supply is not adequate for the new graphics card. However, games with much higher minimum requirements than Fiesta run much longer than Fiesta does without stuffing up. My only solution for this is to restart my computer so I can play for 10 more minutes before the graphics go crazy again.

I know this won't be fixed until I get a new PSU, but is there any possible way to reduce the graphical setting on Fiesta any further? I've lowered the resolution, turned off AA and character outline. I also use Shift+Z when in towns. Any other reductions possible? The game worked fine on the older graphics card...

Thanks.

Wow, that looks pretty cool though, as if the continent is being ripped apart.

But as for your problem, have you tried updating your graphics driver? Or maybe even your motherboard driver? It may have gotten a fix for extra compatibility.

But no, sadly there's no other graphics settings except for shadows. But that won't really solve anything I think. Also, character outline doesn't work yet.

I have all the latest drivers for all my hardware. Sigh, it looks like I'll have to wait for that new PSU...

This is a problem with that graphics card that I've had myself while playing other MMOs. The easiest way to fix it is to go to Nvidia's website and download the drivers made specifically for gaming. They're not the newest drivers available, but as soon as I installed them, my graphical explosions went away.
