Ok guys, i'm very new to SOS and i'd like to know some things about it. Is it like fiesta or quite different?
Also, i'd like to know that if you're a xenian, how do you obtain the other classes?
I also have a question on jobs, it says on the beginner guide that there are 4 jobs you can choose from, but where does the archer and rogue come from?
Do they branch out from the Neophyte class, or something?
I'm sorry if i posted in the wrong section, if so, please tell me where the beginners thread section should be at, thanks!:)=)
EDIT: i almost forgot, is there any pvp system or way of battling other players?

1.It is quiet different from Fiesta.
2. You do the 10 tutorial quests from the Solstice trainer. Then level up to level 16 and talk to Reinmoth to change your class to Squire(Fighter) Neophyte(speed) Apprentice(Artillary) or Acolyte(healer).
3. The archer and rouge come from the Neophyte Class.
4. Rouge is the main path of Neo, but most people change at level 45 to the branch class of Scout.
I would suggest looking around the Class discussion sections.
PvP for now are GM run events when a GM teleports you to the Arena. Check the event schedule for when PvP events are. In the future there will be a better PvP system.

Thanks for replying!
I have three more questions, are there any ways we can get boosted in exp? In maple, there's pq, fiesta, there's kq, that kinda thing.
Also, is the leveling easy without any boost such as kq, just simple training on monsters, how much % exp do you get an hour at lvl 30 on average?
Also, do you have to call out your skills whenever you use them, so far, i've seen alot of people shouting out skills in screenshots while using them or are they just doing that for fun?

1. exp boost occur randomly depending on Storyline events SOMETIMES. OR the other day server crash, they gave out a 35% exp boost for a day for lost time for people. Otherwise you can buy boosts from Cash store.
2. At lvl 30 exp is easy. It gets a lot harder at lvls 45+ depending on your class and how you play. Higher levels get even harder to get exp. 60+ super hard .02-.03 some places unless you AOE.
3.when you use a skill it shows the action so yeah it calls out your skills kinda if I understand the question.

There is also the templar branch of class that you can take when you reach lvl 45 Aco. They are kind of a melee fighter with heal over time and stuff like that. Of course their melee ability are reduced to make up for their other skill.
If you use a skill your character automaticaly call out the name of the skill. Without the player having to do anything, you cant even turn that off.

Thanks, guys. I've got a few more questions (sorry for too much of them), Do all classes have AOE skills? Also, are there cooldowns for skills, if there are, are they very long? Thanks!
EDIT: What level do you have to reach for each job advance, I'm planning to be a neophyte, what level do i have to be for each job advance?

All class's have aoe
Squire - Get your first AoE around level 5x called Reflection, this has a 7 second cooldown if im not mistaken, then your second AoE called Wild Swing at level 71 with no cooldown
Rogue - Get Your first AoE at 66, this is called Circle trap, no cooldown, theres another called Sandstorm but i have no clue what level/cooldown that has
Cleric - There First AoE is at 71, this is Major Heal (Heals everybody in a certaina rea around you and yourself)
Scout - Get your first AoE at 66, Brambleway, its like an advanced version of Ankle Binding but casts it on all monsters(slows them down) second AoE is at 71, this is Recticle Trap, damages monsters in a range distance
Disciple - First AoE at level 66 called Chainblock, 1 second cooldown, second is level 80 i think, no cooldown for that
Apprentice, first AoE i think is lightning no cooldown idont think, dont know what level

I'm wondering, what levels do you achieve your next jobs? i heard lvl 16 for neopyte i think, but then you go to rogue and then so on and so on. What level do you advance to rogue and the others after?

The class line goes...
Xenian -> Lvl 16 First class -> Lvl 66 Second class -> Lvl 96 Third class
-> Lvl 45 Branch class -> Lvl 80 Third class
