Event help, button that makes no one on screen....

Is the current event items only given from mods? and what button makes ppl not show on the screen? control ____ ?

There are event items from the previous "Chase the leprechaun" event around Fiesta. Such as the Cat Houses and Gold 9's. And there will be future events with items only available by wining the GM event as well. But there are also Events quests that you can complete in order to get items only gain-able during the event period.
You can also hide the characters around you in towns by pressing Shift + Z. This will not work if you are in a party or outside of town.
