Weekend lucky streak :D

I think wearing all this green is getting to me, cause i've had a pretty nice stroke of luck this weekend.

I'll start with yesterday. I was out in Burning Hill playing around and laughing about Marlone's bunny shirt when I decided to head to Eldey to see if anything was going on out that way. Coming around from where Marlone spawns my camera can see over the little fence into the center area there, and I spied with my little eye a treasure chest. So of course I run over and open it, grab the stuff that was inside (some return scrolls, mats, and a t2 blessed xir) and then ran back out of there all "lol I found a chest~" like the huge noob that I am.

After my noobness wore off I decided to keep on my way to Eldey like I had been. I come out the gate to the Sea of Greed and started to run around the island to see if Mara was out just so I could run around her in loops because I was bored and i'm easily amused. Before I even get one loop around done, I spy something shaking on the ground; Another chest! I was like "lol ***?" and opened it too. It was sitting right out in the open where anyone could see it, how much luck is that? It just had some more mats and a t1 lucky lix in it but that's still stuff I can sell, because Teva knows I need the money xD. It must have been Mara's chest though, she spawned right where I opened it. She didn't mess with me though, cause she know's i'm a tough guy -v-....or not. Probably just cause i'm level 30+ XD

Skip forward to today out in Moonlight Tomb. I'm out killing piggy bats and whatever else gets in my way when this leetle ol' spider decides to try and show me how tough he is. He got it threw right back in his face, and when he died he dropped me a pretty little level 40 cleric shield. I didn't think much about it; A green drop here and there isn't something unusual. What was unusual though, at least for me, when was a few kills later an ice vivi dropped a level 36 mage hat for me. Pretty sweet :D

Skip forward again to a few hours after that in Gold Hill KQ. A skeleton decides to be a bugger and attack me, so I gave him the mage beatdown and lo and behold what does he drop? A Mini Dragon Gold Ring, just for me. I was like "...wut is that doing in this KQ? xD"

All of these drops and chests....this is sooooooo unusual for me XD Saint Patricks Day luck, maybe? 4-leaf clover really works? :O lol I don't know but now i'll be able to afford my skills :D

Why is it that I, an active member of Fiesta who plays far too much for my class load, has managed to get into only four KQs and has never found a chest? The only lucky thing that has happened to me on Fiesta is the friendships I have made and being chosen to partake in the Date a GM contest... Of course, those have to do with people. (and I am Very thankful for the Outspark community. I love you guys! =D)
Therefore, my thought that electronics and me do not go together is only enforced. (Seriously. Is breaking two hard drives, one within three months of having the computer, and frying the power source and mother board of another that was unplugged, dry, and +200 miles away normal? And that's just computers.... -.-)

I suppose I will share mine and my friend's luck now. So first off we are on Epith. So about three or four days after Epith goes up, I am fighting glow wolves and much to my amazement, a Shining ring of Roumen drops, and I'm like, OMG the first blue I haven't had to buy! (former resident of Bijou) So skip ahead now to sometime last week, I am soloing on my archer in VT, doing quests and whatnot, and a ghost drops my second Shining ring of Roumen! So naturally I had to brag to my guild a little, and they all congrtualted me and hated me for my luck. Now the day after me and my friend creat Love_or_Death, we are in robo, and she gets dark robo earrings, and naturally I hate her for it cause all robo ever gives me is 5 t2 hp pots. So fast forward a day or two, we are in robo KQ again, and I tank and kill robo with my archer for the second time (this time getting the kill), and I come out of it with a pair of dark robo earrings, and hating my friend a little less. So fast forward to yesterday. We once again do robo, and lo and behold, she comes out with another pair of dark robo earrings, so we give them to our other mutual friend in the guild. Well later that same day, she comes out of robo with yet another pair of dark robo earrings...so I am back to hating her in all her glorious luck...

On Apoline, when I played months ago, I'd find a chest every once in a while, but that was about it. On Epith though...I've probably gotten more than a dozen already, without even really looking for them.

First was the burning hill chest you mentioned, then 30 minutes later found another one in burning hill up in front of the hideout in the center. Fast forward to level 32 or so, when I do Tomb Fox/Skeleton licenses, found one right near the entrance, bit later one spawns right near the wood in the north of the graveyard, bit later one spawns in the Northeast corner behind the Fox group, bit later I go to kill staff for the quest and find a chest in that graveyard. That was pretty hilarious, and I lucked out because the last one had a Honeying, the pet I like my cleric to have ^^

The first chest I found was in Marlone Hideout, sitting IN a wall about 10 feet up LOL The next one, I was wandering around GC when one appeared right in front of me, like a gift from the gods! 3 pets and some xirs.... best chest yet.

Back on topic though, the first chest I ever found was in LS2. I always go to the same spot up there when I go grinding, and I was there one day and a chest appeared behind this little column thing in front of the wall :P

I find it very odd as well, but not as odd as the one time I found two MD rings in the same King Slime KQ, I got a nice jump start on that one cause about 1/4 of the mobs dropped chest like amounts of stuff :)

I actually find MD rings to be worse than other rings I could get, namely I would rather prefer two stat boss rings over an md ring anyday, or of course my two shining rings of roumen, which will hopefully be replaced by shining rings of eld one day XD

I'm wearing a Brave Ring of Roumen and Mara's Ring of Waves right now (Mara's ring cause i'm a noob and it's pretty xD). Found the Brave ring in LS2 83

I think i was sunday or saturday when I struck in 2 hours, a brave ring of eld, some good cleric pants, a couple of CP lics, fighter pants and 2 silver lumps in packs of 5.

lol i had some good luck like you u and me share something in common

when i was lvl 26 fighter i got a shining ring of roumen from a bat in mt

then i was playing with my archer lvl 27 at the point in mt

i got 2 mage chestplate and 2 cleric chestplate both lvl 40

then i got a lvl 40 power wand

later i got a lvl 30 2h sword from a bat again

and finally i got a lvl 40 green cleric shield from spider

all this happende in one day

because i played for about 10 hours that day XD was so tired

except for the shining ring of roumen i got that in a diffrent day

OMG the little nublets beat us high levels at getting greens T_T Tis a dark day for us wee high levels. The newbies are getting so much good drops to sell and to trade and to make money with. Darn! Working on a lvl 20 mage who got killed in the job change quest <_<

Did the last patch increased higher drop rates for lvl 40-? -makes note that the lvl 20 mage should spam magic burst when finished with job quest at SOG with t2 shield scrolls and power and mentality-

Luckily I was kinda soloing the bat, while everyone around me was hitting the other mobs. So my party got the treasure. ;) And in the last few days it seems I'm a magnet for archer drops. Storage is full of green bows and crossbows. Too bad I'm a cleric.

Spent last night around VT fighting yellows and greens. Green mobs actually dropped more mats and pots but not a single item drop... not even a scroll.

Accidentally picked up 2 T2 mana pots from a group.. apologized and gave them 2 T3 pots back LOL - that was about the most exciting thing to have happened.

Got silver and copper ore for robo KQ tho :confused:
