View Full Version : Is it worth it to create a new neo just for additional rogue anklets?

I see that you can get new rogue anklets by buying from sellers or by creating a new neo and storing the equip at the hotel, but is it worth it to do so? The anklet is just +1 agi, right?
Just wondering if I should go through hours of trouble just for the small boost.
Also, if I do it, after transerring the item to the hotel can I delete the extra character? Don't want 3 neos after all.

no neo...squire but it is. i made two squires, got 2 necklaces, 2 more pts into power, and it took my a most an hr to get both squires to 16 to get the necklaces...so i think its wrth it....not like its gonna take u years to do so...

its totally up to u
either make 2 new neos or pay 125000 kron for each new anklet from players (total 250000kron)
i paid the price and im happy with the result ^^

I created three neo's and deleted the other two after receiving the anklets. I believe it was well worth it (even if it is extra weight).
To delete a character all you do is click "delete" at the character selection screen AFTER selecting the character you don't want.

Absolutely do it, theres no consequence. Gaining (2 lvl's practically) with getting the extra 2agi.

As you were told before it nearly like 2 more lvl because after all excluding lvl that finish by 5 or 0 you get only 1 point to distrinbute so it is worth it.
Second = dont forget to go sell all of the equip exept for the anklet and the pot you got for your new class at 16 and buy a bunch of pot then go to the hotel put the anlket in and all the pot you bought and the 50 hp and 50 mana you are given when you become neo. After all that you will have 3 anklet and about 200 hp pot and 200 mp pot for your Neo. Some might say that 400 pot is not really that much but at those lvl it still worth 40 000 kron.

its not that hard to create a level 16 neo.. maybe it'll take you only 30 minutes to make one..

Hi, I'm new, I have a level 25 neo and I came across this thread. I found this interesting so I decided to do 2 neos for the anklets. The first one took me 25 minutes to do just rushing no distractions at all. The second one was a little under 24 minutes. It is really fast, it just seems slow because when your not in a hurry people tend to fool around and get distracted. There you go. 50 minutes can save you what? 300k

Just do the beginning quest to get out of town, then go kill non stop. Use your milk and potions and just spam Xen. Wont take long at all, and worth it if you ask me.

It used to be more annoying to do because about a month ago or 2, you needed 4 pieces of Jureah's Pendant to class change at lvl 16. But they took it out now so getting the extra accessories for your class is indeed worth it.
Sadly though the Rogue Anklets arent worth getting as much as the other class accessories...
Getting more then one of the squire's accessory will give him more damage and much more weight.
Getting more then one of the Apprentice's accessory will give him more damage to his spells, which is crucial since App's lack in defense so they need as much power as possible.
Getting more then one of the Acolyte's accessory gives him more MP which is exactly what an Aco needs, all that buffing and healing requires a great deal of MP.
Getting more then one of the Neophyte's accessory....gives him what? +2 attack power? an extra 2 agi wont even increase your skill critical...nor your attack speed or your dodge. Would need much more agi for that.
My point is that the Rogue Anklets are the worst accessory to spend time getting extras.
Here's my opinion...get 2 Rogue Anklets and 1 Remasto's Ring (lvl 35 Quest) it gives +1 stamina which is way more useful then 1 agi in my opinion.

Really? It is so fast to job change? What is needed to Job Change to Neo? For me i think the Accesory for the Swordsman (Squire) is more better, coz they give +2 Pow and extra weight.
Opinion only* :D

1) Changing from Xenian to any other class (in this case, Neophyte) is extremely easy and fast. Seriously, not a bother to get this extra Rogue's Anklet or two when it takes you... well, an hour to get 6-7% solo'ing as a level 5x+ Neophyte. I call it perspective.
2) You just need to be level 16+ to job change to Neophyte. Talk to Reinmoth to be transported to the Rogues Guild, and the Rogue leader will ask you if you want to reset your stats. Say yes, set POW to 4, AGI to 13+, and STA to 4. Apply for class change. Done deal.
3) As nice as it'd be to equip the Squire equip... we're no squires. ;) We can't equip that item. Only Incubator, Rogue's Anklet, Remasto's Ring, etc.

Are you sating STA is more useful than AGI? why don't you put your stat points into STA instead of AGI then. I'd like to meet your pure STA rogue in PvP.

Why STA 4? Is POW 4 is needed for the 1st tier shield?.
Isn't it much better to put the 4 pts of STA on AGI? More Damage/Evasion much better i think.

I didn't say you had a choice.
You're required to have those stats in order to job change from Xenian to Neophyte, hun.
Same goes for POW. It's just a default that you need +4 POW to equip the level 16 Neophyte shield.

Hehehe, i'm just curios though. I'm just patching the game, so what level is the next shield and what Pow requirements?

it's just what is required for first class change. like acolytes are forced to waste points on AGI for the initial class change, though i'm sure many would prefer to have those points in INT
EDIT: seems like helen answered the question at exactly the same time as me

Level 24, +5 POW requirement, I believe.

Yes, it's already been established it's worth it, since each anklet gives +1 AGI, which is like +1 Level for us neophytes/rogues. (And again, honestly, it doesn't take that much time to make.)
You could try making a bunch and selling them, but they wouldn't sell for much (because they're so easy to make), and depending on your level and amount of game play (though I think any level can do this) - you'd probably make a lot more money training/hunting on your neophyte than sitting around 24/7 waiting for someone to buy your easy-come anklets.
