I had a question in regards to those of you that have purchased the CHARM OF STR item from the cashshop, any clue if this adds to a mage's M.dmg?

GMs, CSRs:

Are there any plans to make a similar item for a mage? CHARM OF INT perhaps? Seems unfair, especially during guildwars, where all classes aside from mages can raise their damage through a cash shop item, while we cannot. Though i don't know if i'd actually purchase the item, it would be nice if the option were there if i should so choose.

I do realize there are concentration scrolls in-game that have a similar effect, though these are extremely rare, expensive, and expire upon death. similarly there are strength enhancing potions as well with the same benefits.

Mages already do huge damage, there's no need to double it >.>

Concentration scrolls can't be made, and aren't dropped. Yeah, it's a wee bit unfair, how are we going to stay as the pure-raw-damage do-ers if all the other classes can boost their attacks? (except for clerics, their attack is weak!!! ^^)

-_- I can see it now. Mages make an all mage guild. Than challenges every single guild that is active and online enough to be fun to kill every single hour... Say good bye grinding parties! As your doom is right behind that [insert obstacle here]

Zues, the thing is, mages are overpowered. Other classes aren't. But when you give that boost of INT, BOOM! Mages are gonna be super-overpowered. Guess character balance is gonna be wrecked if mages can simply purchase a Charm of INT which will boost their magic damage by 50%(?)

give us a charm of mdef too if you wanna buff up mages some more. i mean geez, the spells you do hurts like crazy. and +9-ing armors dont increase our mdef. mages are overpowered as hell already ><

i guess my concern was i PvP'ed an archer who was using charm of STR in BZ, we were same lvl and there was absolutely no chance of me winning. we fought 8 times, i lost all 8. i came close once because i crit 3x in a row. mind u i have over 600 def without the use of scrolls and a little over 2000hp @ lvl 65. stones cannot possibly keep up with that amount of damage + DOT i was lucky to get to my 3rd stone on occassion.

Yeah well, all that stuff doesn't help when some other idiot fighter sneaks up on you and smacks you ^^

Plus, I have an annoyingly hard time finding an archer whose firing at me -.-

Charm of Str is for mages and does increase their Magic Damage. I would suggest the Charms of Might over buying the seperate charm of stre and def scrolls main reasons. Charm of Str and Charm of Def scrolls only give 20% bonus and last only an hour. 1 Charm of Might gives 50% Dam AND Def for 2 hours. I love them on my mage. I can pop one of them on and tank better than most full end tanks in an aoe party while killing everything in less than 3 secs!

Buy a Tough Cookie Pack, pop one on and test it out, you'll quickly become a cookie pack addict lol.

thanks for the info Cat. the item description said that it increases "Damage", wasn't sure if it had an affect on "m.damage". thanks for the confirmation !
