First Impressions

I started playing Fiesta today and my first impression is not too good:





Graphics, characters, NPS'c and monsters look great!* Interface is very easy to learn.





However, I began the first quest to kill a few slimes or mushrooms and found myself dying 3, 4..6 times before never actually defeating one single monster.* To me, it seems wrong that a slime is hitting me with 8 damage when with my staff, i give him 1 point damage hits.* And I also used the HP stones..used all of what you are given at the beginning of the game..





Perhaps I'm missing something, but the launcher says "Casual Game".* I don't agree.*

You're a mage right? Well were you using spells or were you hitting it with your staff? Try sticking to the first area right outside Roumen (west) until you're level two or three.

I went no further than the fork in the road..if that is too far..?


I would hit with spell a few times, then staff once closer to me.

Stick to using spells and not your staff, I'm a mage too

Mages have the worst defense out there. They're not meant to hit things with their staff. It's like giving a samurai a feather and no armor. It's completely useless and you'll die easily. Trust me, before level 4ish, you'll die pretty easily so you'll need to kite. Which means to use a spell, run, spell, run, rinse and repeat. After 4 it'll get a bit easier. Always, ALWAYS use your spells and heal when you need it. Don't fight monsters you can't handle either.





The game itself is brilliant. You just need to learn how to play your class. ;D
