when i mean buffless i dont mean the hp sp buff.....for those that know me knows that i start characters over alot xD
well...recently...alot of the kqs i've been in...slime kq, mara, and gold hill...i happen to come across clerics that dont know protect skills o.o pt buffs.....
lol i know later they will eventually HAVE to buy the pt buffs but atm its a problem ;~;

OMG I KNOW RIGHT?! I made a new mage and just recently started doing mara kqs and the 2 clerics in my party didn't know the resist skill (boosts m.def and m.dmg) and I ask them, "you're almost 23 why don't you have resist yet?" their response, "because I don't need to do magic damage... DUH."

OMFG FOREO?! you really just "DUH'd" a cleric user?!

sigh. see you in free battle zone non-resist-buying clerics, you'll regret not getting it for my magic damage, especially if ariana or ira are around LOLz! ^^ <3

ye ive got all my skills except bleed and T2 of immune(?, the skill that gives you +x% agaisnt poisen orso, really its useless to me)

You know what's worse is when you are in a KQ with a cleric who never bought Heal.

When I first started out on my archer I joined King Slime. Had a Level 6 Cleric. And the entire party was like "heal please?" Since one of the people in the party were one of the tanks, and were taking on massive damage.

And she retorted with "It's not my job to heal." -_-
I told her that her job was to support her party, and that included heals.
Then she claimed that she never bought it because she couldn't afford it.
.....*twitch*..Heal is the Cheapest friggan skill, as are all level 3 skills. You could sell like 3 dusts and get the money for it.
We ended up having one cleric in the KQ healing everyone from different parties, which was nice and greatly appreciated.

And As for the Clerics who don't buy Resist or Protect. What is wrong with you? So what if they don't do damage? We aren't a Damage Dealing Class. We are a support class ><. Those skills will only aid you by increasing damage and defense of you and your party. I don't know why people seem to think that skills that don't do damage are useless.

The only time I've never had party buffs up in my party/kq, is when they either run out and I don't realize it, or when I die and forget about them. But usually I catch myself when I realize whoever I'm healing has gotten slightly more squishy. XD

lol...well...one good news is that 1/4 new fighter i meet actually kicks/mock in kq...
as for the new generation of clerics...i hope they learn that they r idiots T_T
not buying protect/resist and omg even heal....will come back and bite them in the u know where when they are asking for parties at higher lvls....and thats if they managed to get that far....hopefully they learn b4 lv 30 ^ ^

Ok so recently I joined a mara kq that had no one in it (joined because it's good exp w/o the exp loss.) As soon as I entered I thought I'd be the only one (mage) in there and alas! I get a cleric (woot woot, right?) She's high enough to res so I thot I'd AOE the joint w/o using any pots (love the new capacity btw) so I gather up some pirates and the only two boogies in the kq and start bursting like crazy... My HP is down to more than half and I rotate the camera to find the cleric fighting a pirate not within my AOE range.. -_- I mean cmon.. the whole time I used stones but kept her in my PT because I'm TOO NICE.

We didn't get too far (although we could have if she healed my *blank*) but whatevs. I was over it before I started this rant, just thought it'd be nice to share my 2 cents. ;)

this happens alot ^ ^ all clerics (including me and if its not like u then this does not apply to u -_- its mah opinion) have a desire for action, standing idly by watching ppl get hurt isnt an easy job, this actually remind me of the time i was in mara kq as the only cleric....at lvl 19
everybody was like omg!! and started suiciding, some even called me noob and said i should've stayed out to let better clerics in...;~;
but the good part was that there was only 6 of us left..and they were soo nice ^ ^ the tank was amazing also, we actually succeeded and the only time someone died was when they did it on purpose, where they cleared the boat at the end(my fighter tries doing this but ppl end up atking!! and they shout at me for wasting time >_> all of u ppl who know how to do kq...make a noob and start teaching xD)

i met ONE of the clerics who didnt have the support skills again...hes lv26 and he didnt have the skill but then a few hrs later(after the kq where pt members yelled at him) i saw him walking around using protect and such in a pt at MT.....;~; they grow up so fast...noobs u know...u can only hope they grow up faster xD

That's sad for a cleric to not have a support skill. They will be called uber noobs and lets hope that this thread is going to prevent that from happening.

For those who argue "I don't do magic damage"... if you read the entire description, you'll see it ups Magic Resistance (aka DEFENSE) too. Chyea... *shudders*
