Mage Def points gone

My DD mage has been duoing with an end mage of late, and since the last patch, her def value fell dramatically -now it is the same as mine without equipment (the end from equipment still gived def points). Has this happened to any other end mages or is this a bug that only she has.

Have you relogged and unequipped and re-equipped everything? Or maybe make sure your not just hallucinating or something? :P Mages DO have pretty low defense to start with ;)

an end mage should have more def than a dd mage w/out equips.....
if something happened cuz of the new patch i cant really tell...my mage still pwns and get pwned as usual xD

We aoe'ed in Sand Hill the day before, and she took damage much slower...now she is taking damage at the same rate as I do (she can just take a little more of it with higher hp); and yes, she has logged out and back in several times since then.

END from free stats don't add to the total def on screen. There an END mage should not have higher def on the character screen than DD mage. Instead END free stat decresed a fixed dmg per hit, try it on a low lvl mob, the END mage should take less dmg (amount of dmg less from the free stat window) than the DD mage.
