Problem with update and signing in

When i try to log into the game its starts to download updates, going back as far as 12-20-07 or so. I let the update download then try to log in again, and it starts the process over again. Is anyone else having this problem or know what to do to fix it?

just got past the updates it took 4 times, and now its saying someting about Xenclient.exe that its encountered a problem and needs to close. it does that every time i try and log on. everyting was working fine yesturady. Any ideas whats goin on or how to fix it?

im updating this, i try a reload, and now am back the the updates, and is starting with 20071220 001.xz anyone know what could be causeing this

Vista sometimes has problems loading patches, but on my computer it requests permission instantly.

Try running it as administrator if you've got vista.

If not, it might just be your computer or something interfering with it.

I have removed the program and reintsalled, and still it takes me thru the dec updates. the computer is working fine, other programs are working without any problems, there is however after the new install a launcher patch that comes up its right after that it takes me to the updates

What OS are you using? (it might also help if you turn off your firewall during the download)

im using Xp and i have the firewall off, i normally get the grant access screen that comes up after the updates, and im not getting that, and i have worked on this for like 4 or 5 hours now

Ugh, I forgot what xp shows when you right click on something.

Either right click on it and grant it access or go down and click on properties and poke around there.

Pretty sure there's something there that gives administrative rights to it automatically.
