Party buffs because I want them, but more realisticaly I would say Entangle.

all we really need is entagle...and maybe like an aoe entagle at a super high lvl....and the party buffs

at a very high lvl??!
noway......make it at about lvl43.......
and dey rly nid to consider increasin our poison skill dmg by 50% 100% :( their additional dmg sux......100++ additional dmg at lvl53 :(
.....aoe skills nid to increase base dmg too :p.....jus about 20~40 dmg more den my nrml atk

I've always wanted Entangle, but I would actually rather have the party buffs now ...
I want to also contribute to a party in ways other than damage @-@

I've got to admit... being able to add something to a party is extremely enticing, so I chose that. However, it doesn't seem right that mobs can use entangle when we can't. -.-

increasin the dmg for fury impact , bone shot ,venomous shot , volley shot and nature mist.....and even pierce shot too wud be nice......compare those dmg wif power shot/aimed shot at lvl53.......they sux alot
and entangle wud be nice(make it aoe or else wud be useful only for soloin)
increase the periodic dmg ><
40dmg at lvl53....not good at all......make it atleast 80
and venom are supposed to be VERY poisonous....so it mus be about 20% more dmg and dot dmg too

That's why those shots have dps........because it makes up for the casting damage..

I don't think aoe entangle would be useful when you have a fighter tanking in your party.

Exactly what I thought too xD
Since entangle stops only movement (forward movement), it's not very helpful to a non-range tank.
That's why I voted for party buffs :D
However, I would also like to get entangle sometime. Useful for soloing or mage duos.

if u say entangle is useless if u hav a tank in ur pt .....ur soooooo~ wrong ( feels weird dat this comes from a little kid :P)
cleric can get aggro from long term healing.....and when the wave of mobs move in to wipe the cleric out , use aoe entangle and ur the hero of the day.....the mobs will be stuck and cant hit the cleric XD.....the tank can relax and mock and take back the aggro
so who says buff is better den entangle ? (except if the entangle is a hit-1-mob skill)

Mmm, agreed with Niialin.
Both would really be nice, but if I had to choose 1 before the other I would choose buff before entangle.

Im even happy that they have lowered our cooldown....but would be nice if they give back some pvp skills as well ;(((((

lol that cool down is goin back up im guessin mabe a lil higher tha CD of inferno or frost if not same amount of CD it was bugged a bit lol if u ask me wats next mages get awesome new skill ^^ then we can have 1 *Serious note tho no idea when we will get a new skill or any prob when beta is over* but i here on Korean server archers are really good at lvl 105 lol if u wana play ur archer that long

You do know that Spirit Thorn isn't 100%... like any other skill it could miss. And by the time you realize that it's going after the Cleric... doubt you'd cast it in time for it to not hit. Especially if they're standing close by. BUT it's quite useful during boss fights. We all know Mini Dragon has a tendency to go after Archers... Entangle will keep it in place while the Fighter gets back from Fear. In that sense it's useful. Best used during solo, duo, and boss fights... not the 'best' during AOE. ;)
I'd say the party/self buffs would be the best if it was to come in order. Then we could actually give something to the team. Crit buff anyone? :D

ok im starting an archer (look at the sig) and so far i think the party buffs are really important cuz then archers will get partied more. plus since im a dd tank.....more buffs would help me.

I dont like the thought of merely increasing the dmg of an archer and their skills. That's the mage's job. Like the other classes, we should have something unique going for us. I'd like archers to be able to debuff monsters like decrease its aim, defense etc... by a significant percentage. That way, we would be increasing the party's effectiveness by weakening the monsters. Party buffs would make us similar to a cleric though...

Archer debuffs cannot be used - in other versions of fiesta they are as you describe but in this version, we replaced the SAME skills with a bleeding and poison effect. I prefer the DoT over the Debuff.
As for the similarity to clerics, archer party buffs in other versions include evasion, aim, crit rate etc. rather than the limited increased attack/defense/hp/sp offered by clerics.
basically, other versions buff parties for the same stats they debuff monsters with.
