Fiesta Online Glossary and Index
A Work In Progress =x
Short Introduction: So I’m still pretty buch a lowbie when it comes to this game – I’ve been out ever since the very beginning of open beta and just restarted on the new server , Epith, so my knowledge is fairly lacking in terms of higher level features of the game. I took this endeavor because I was fairly bored without my laptop with fiesta installed – so I need something useful to occupy my time (instead of,y’know, studying for all those AP tests). This is an index and glossary of terms and phrases that are easily accessible on the forums for newer players to look at and get an idea of the game – and to not seem so newbish when they do start.
Fiesta Versions
Fiesta is an international game published in Korea by Ons On Soft – this is the list of different versions of the game (sometimes under different names) and their hosts.

Character Classes
There are 4 main classes in Fiesta – each undergoes an upgrade at levels 20 and 60 (with a possible class branch system implemented in the future). The player picks the class from the start of the game. Currently available are:
Archer –> Hawk Archer –> Scout
One of two ranged classes in the game – this class uses bows and crossbows as their weapons. Currently the focus of being underbalanced.
Cleric –> High Cleric –> Paladin
One of two melee classes in the game – this class uses maces and hammers as their weapons. This class is the primary healing and buffing class.
Mage –> WizMage –>Enchanter
One of two ranged classes in the game – this class uses staffs and wands as their weapons. Currently the focus of being overbalanced.
Fighter –> Clever Fighter –> Warrior
One of two melee classes in the game – this class uses one/two hand swords and axes as their weapons. This class is the primary tank class.
Equipment
Equipment is in essence your clothing and gear. There are various slots to place equipment in – each with their own functions. Equipment is buyable from the armor NPC and are dropped by monsters.
Item Level
Equipment comes in five levels. As of now, up to Item Level 3 has been released. Beyond these levels, there is also other item levels available indicated by a colored name:
White – Normal item. Typically bought at NPCs and generally has no stat bonuses.
Green – Rare item. An uncommon drop from monsters and generally has moderate stat bonuses.
Blue – Ultra Rare item. A rare drop from monsters and generally has large stat bonuses.
Gold(unreleased) – An Epic Rare item. An impossibly rare drop from monsters and generally has massive stat bonuses.
Purple – A cash shop item. Not to be confused with blue named items.
Weapons
Weapons are the core of any damage in the game. While it is possible to not use any weapons and still do damage (yes, there is a punching animation), the benefits come from actually equipping a weapon. Weapons are upgradable from 0-9 currently and have a unique glowing effect for each level from +3 and above.
[[if anyone has a list of the green weapon prefixes and what stats they generally enhance, it would be greatly appreciated]]
1h Sword – A fighter class-locked weapon. The fastest and least damaging of the three fighter weapons – this weapon is a favorite of tanks because of the free hand typically used to hold a shield for added defense.
2h Sword – A fighter class-locked weapon. The median in speed and damage of the three fighter weapons – this weapon is typically used by damage doers that dislike the slow axe.
Axe – A fighter class-locked weapon. The slowest but most damaging of the three fighter weapons – this weapon is used to inflict massive damage.
Bow – An archer class-locked weapon. The ranged weapon with the fastest attack speed of the two archer weapons – this weapon is typically used by characters that prefer not using skills.
Cross Bow – An archer class-locked weapon. The ranged weapon with the most damage and critical rate of the two archer weapons – this weapon is typically used by characters that use skills often.
Hammer – A cleric class-locked weapon. The melee weapon with the most damage and critical rate of the two cleric weapons – this weapon is typically used with a shield for defense.
Mace – A cleric class-locked weapon. The melee weapon with the most speed and aim rate of the two cleric weapons – this weapon is typically used with a shield for defense.
Wand – A mage class-locked weapon. The ranged weapon with the most magic damage and critical rate of the two mage weapons – this weapon is typically used for the attack power.
Staff – A mage class-locked weapon. The ranged weapon with the most damage over time and aim rate of the two mage weapons – this weapon is typically used for its DoT bonus.
Shields
These are used to add stat and defensive bonuses. They are only able to be worn by fighters and clerics and can only be used in conjunction with a one-handed weapon. Similar to weapons, shields are upgradable from 0-9 currently and have a unique glowing effect for each level from +3 and above.
Armor
These are used to add stat and defensive bonuses. Each part is class specific and covers certain parts of the body. Similar to weapons and shields, armor is upgradable from 0-9 currently. Unlike the others, it has no visible effect when upgraded.
Hat – Covers the head of a character. This armor is unique in that it is the only non-visible piece of armor available.
Chest – Covers the torso region of a character. This armor is frequently upgraded.
Pants – Covers the lower region of a character. This armor is also frequently upgraded.
Boots – Covers the feet of a character.
Clothes
I decided to name them this for lack of a better term. They go on your body and are available from the cash shop. They simply are equipped in a separate slot and are visible instead of your armor, not above.
Accessories
These are used for stat bonuses and ailment resistance. They go on a character and are left invisible when equipped.
Earrings – These accessories are available in order to add stat bonuses to a character. Currently, they offer bonuses to secondary stats. There is one slot for earrings per character. Earrings are also typically found in Kingdom Quests as a reward.
Necklaces – These accessories are available in order to resist ailments to a character. Currently, they offer poison, illness or curse resistance or a combination. There is one slot for necklaces per character.
Rings – These accessories are available in order to add stat bonuses to a character. Currently, they offer bonuses to primary stats. There are two slots for rings per character.
Minipets
Unlike the above equipment, these are not actually present on the body. Minipets are visible, smaller versions of monsters that appear on a character’s shoulder. These pets add a stat bonus and are only available from either Cash Shop, mining or treasure chests. There is one slot for minipets per character.
Stats
Stats are used to create unique player builds in the game. These are further upgradable using scrolls, buffs and green weapons. To view your stats in-game, use the “c” button.
Primary Stats
These are the primary character building feature of the game. Players acquire 1 stat point per level-up as well as 5 bonus stat points for the level 20 class change and 10 stat points for the level 60 class change. Stats upgradeable include:
STR (Strength) – Increases player base Physical Damage.
END (Endurance) – Increases player base Hit Points, Physical Defense and Block Rate.
DEX (Dexterity) – Increases player base Evasion and Aim.
INT (Intelligence) – Increases player base Magic Damage.
SPR (Spirit) – Increases player base Spirit Points, Magical Defense and Critical Rate.
Secondary stats
Primary stats are further broken down into secondary stats which are gained at a set rate. Secondary stats include:
DMG (Damage) – Physical damage – added to weapon based damage.
MDMG(Magic Damage) – Magical damage – added to skill based damage.
DEF (Defense) – Physical defense – added to weapon based defense.
MDEF (Magic Defense) – Magical Defense – added to magic/skill based defense.
HP (Hit Points) –Health of a character to withstand hits.
SP (Spirit Points) – Requirement of a character to use skills
BLOCK% (Block Percent Rate) – Percent chance that an attack will be blocked.
EVA% (Evasion Percent Rate) – Percent chance that an attack will miss.
CRIT% (Critical Percent Rate) – Percent chance that an attack will do bonus damage.
AIM% (Aim Percent Rate) – Percent chance that an attack will hit.
Note: Equipment with [END] and [SPR] do NOT increase the BLOCK% and CRIT%.

Character Skills
Skills in the game are added functionality in game. They come in three types with a few available only as class-specific. Skills are available via “recipe scrolls” through either quest rewards or purchasable from either the “Skill Master NPCs” using in-game currency or through the skill store using “fame.”
Passive Skills
Passive skills are skills that are always “active” on a character. Some are available to all classes (i.e. the Rider Mover skill or the Mining Skill) while others are class specific (i.e. the weapon specific skills). These are available from the Skill Master NPCs.
Class Skills
Class skills are class specific skills that must be activated to be used. These skills come in a variety of forms (i.e. attacking, healing, buffing etc.). These are available from quests, Skill Master NPCs and the Fame store.
Production Skills
[See Below]
Production Skills
[I felt that there was so many subcategories to this that it needed its own section.]
Production skills are skills that are available to all classes, but limited to two per character. These skills are used typically as money-makers in the game, allowing the creation of items from other items. Currently, there are five classes of production skills available, each with a tier 1-3 version available. Rather than having a character level requirement, production skills have a production experience requirement. Production skills are available from the Skill master NPCs, the Fame Store and as rare drops from monsters.
Cooking
As of yet unimplemented - if anyone has information to add about this production skill, please share with us ^.^
Material Composition
Material composition is the process of taking multiple lower quality materials (i.e. “LQ” (Low quality) items) and making a higher quality material (i.e. “HQ” (High Quality)items). Each production uses an alchemy stone item that is purchasable at the Fame Store.
Material Decomposition
Material composition is the process of taking a higher quality material (i.e. “HQ” (High Quality)items) and making multiple lower quality materials (i.e. “LQ” (Low quality) items). Each production uses an alchemy stone item that is purchasable at the Fame Store.
Potion Production
Potion production is the process of taking “potion” creation materials and producing potions that are used to heal players, replenish spirit or cure ailments.
HP Potion – Heals a set amount of HP depending on the tier.
SP Potion – Heals a set amount of SP depending on the tier.
HP Regeneration Potion – Heals a set amount of HP over time depending on the tier.
SP Regeneration Potion – Heals a set amount of SP over time depending on the tier.
Cure Potion – Cures status ailments depending on the tier.
Potion production can NOT be used to make buff potions of any tier as of now.
Scroll Production
Scroll production is the process of taking “scroll” creation materials and producing scrolls that are used for an hour as temporary buffs to character stats.
Power – Increases [AIM] depending on the tier.
Defense – Increases [DEF] depending on the tier.
Magic Defense – Increases [M.DEF] depending on the tier.
Evasion – Increases [EVA] depending on the tier.
Vitality – Increases HP depending on the tier.
Mentality – Increases MP depending on the tier.
Travel Speed – Increases walking/running speed depending on the tier.
Stone Production
Stone production is the process of taking “stone” creation materials and producing stones that are used for the process of enhancing weapons.
Elrue – Enchants from +1-3
Lix – Enchants from +4-6
Xir - Enchants from +7-9
Stone production can NOT be used to produce “Blessed” and “Lucky” versions of the stone above.
Guilds
Guilds are the core of an online multiplayer game. These are basically alliances of players in-game. Each guild has 35 slots for players. The guild menu is available by pressing the “f” button and clicking the second tab. Also available on this menu is a Guild Notice written by either a Master or Admin located below the character list. Guilds have their own chatbox marked in green and accessible via /g [message].
Guild Creation
The only requirement to make a guild is 300 silver. This is done at one of the Guild Master NPCs located in any of the 3 towns. The character who creates a guild will automatically assume the rank of “Guild Master."
Guild Ranks
Guild ranks have a different meaning for each player, but the basic powers given to each remain the same. There are four classes of members assigned by the guild master:
Master – The leader of the guild. Has full access to all powers, including warring, banning, inviting and setting up guild notices.
Admin – The moderators of the guild. Has access to basically all powers, including warring, banning, inviting and setting up guild notices.
Council – The buffer zone between member and admin. Has no powers but is in a position more important than members.
Member – A normal participant of the guild, has no powers but to leave the guild.
Guild Types
There are two guild types in the game, each geared towards their own specific function.
Warring – Warring guilds are guilds that accept guild wars and typically are expected to be ready to fight at all times.
[I forgot the name of the passive one >.<] – XXXXXX guilds are guilds that don’t war and are geared more towards groups of players who enjoy the presence of others in a guild without the hassle of preparing for wars.
Guild Wars
Guild wars are pvp (player versus player) events in which guilds start a war with each other. Wars can only be declared by Masters or Admins and only occur when both guilds are of the “warring” types. There is a 20 minute cooldown upon declaration followed by an hour-long “warring” period and an hour-long cooldown again.
Parties
Parties are the core of any RPG. Playing as a group is a quicker, more entertaining way to level up and grind. In fiesta, parties are limited to 5 characters including yourself and are visible on the center left hand side of your screen. Parties gain the benefit of shared exp, drops and buffs.
Inviting
Inviting people to a party can be done by any character in the party through multiple ways. You can right click on a character and select the “Invite to Party” option, you can click on their name in a chatbox and select the same option, you can go to your guild/friends list and select the party option, you can use the party searching feature and add one accordingly or you can use the manual /invite [NAME] function.
Party Searching
Party searching is a unique feature in the game where people place requests for parties or party members. This is accessible via the “f” menu under the last tab. Requests are placed and the corresponding characters are able to be whispered and added directly from this menu.
Item allocation
Items are allocated manually through two options:
Free Allocation – This option is the same as soloing, the person who picks up the item gets it.
Sequential Allocation – This option works in a cyclical fashion, distributing the items in order of person.
Party Statuses
Party members have 3 possible statuses, visible by the circles near their names:
Gray with a X – This means the player is offline.
Gold with a ? – This means the player is too far from you.
Character Face – This means the player is within usable radius.
Quests
The heart of any RPG – these are the tasks set by the game to accomplish for rewards. There is a set number of quests that can be accessed at any given time, and the menu is available via the “l” button.
Normal Quests
These quests are available in two varieties – one time and repeatable. The point of these quests are to accomplish a goal (typically in the fashion of collect this monster drop, gather this material or kill this monster). Assigned by NPCs, the rewards from these quests are typically a small amount of Fame points and a small side reward such as stones, materials or potions.
Epic Quests
These quests follow the same trend as the normal quests – coming in categories such as collect this monster drop or kill these monster types. Epic quests have more of a plot development involved within them, starting with part one and gradually giving you more tasks and better rewards while the plot is developed. Assigned by NPCs and give better rewards than normal/
Achievement Quests
These quests are assigned a few levels before the objective level and give rewards at level 10, 20 and 30 so far. These quests are given out by NPCs to get to a level and reward you with a limited use cash shop item.
Event Quests
While not quests in the strictest sense, these do loosely follow the fashion (there is a plot announced in-game or posted on the forums, there is an objective, there is a reward). Unlike the previous quests, this is available only at certain times (check the event schedule sticky in the server threads) and come in two categories- group based and individuals, with individual guaranteeing rewards upon successful completion and group having a random chance of rewards. Rewards typically consist of different level treasure chests and specific game and cash shop items.
Kingdom Quests
One of the unique features to the game, kingdom quests rely on teams of people to accomplish a set task. KQs are active every two hours, with limited slots in each. These are available at different levels corresponding to the difficulty of the quest, but follow the same basic pattern of having a timed chance at completing the quest after defeating a boss monster. The reward for these quests are treasure chests that are placed in your inventory upon success and give an assortment of items.

Miscellaneous/Uncategorized
Titles
Titles are text labels that appear above a character (near the character’s name). To access your character’s titles, press the “c” hotkey then click the “change title” button next to the character’s name. They are obtainable in a variety of ways and come in multiple categories:
Guild Titles – Just the name of your guild that is placed above your head by default. This seemed the best
way to classify them.
Event Title – Available to people who participate in specific events. Currently, the only one I’m aware of is the Closed Beta Tester Title given to participants of the closed beta testing.
Weapon License Title – Available to those with licenses on their equipped weapon. These come in a variety of names (In the format of [Monster Name] Eliminator, Dominator etc. up to Annihilator) and are only available when the weapon is equipped.
Achievement Titles – Available to people who accomplish a certain task while logged in (for example shouting, silence, log-in time, dying etc.) and are always accessible to players.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think there are gloves. The gloves that appear on a character's hands sometimes are part of the Body armor.

Hmm. For good measure, why not add some links to the very very wonderful class specific guides(located in the Class Sections of the Forums), as they're mighty handy for a player doing research while downloading Fiesta, and the more this information is spread out, the more help it can be to the players.
I would also consider adding terms and giving certain definitions, like "Passive - A skill that, once learned, is constantly active and has effects that may not be seen, but are there." as sometimes there is confusion about that(though rarely thankfully).
Weapons break downs also do not hurt to have. I can think of more later. =P Just contact me if you need any help with some of this, and I'll see what I can do.

Putting some spaces between the weapons, and putting them under the subtitles Mage or Cleric would help people distinguish the difference between who the staff and mace belong to, and so on. Also, with the shields, you may want to put that clerics and fighters can both use them, just to make it a little more clear. Also you could split them into 2 categories, one for fighter shields and 1 for cleric shields. Last addition, the mage weapons and wands and staffs. You put "rods" and something else in there, just a tip ^^ Good guide btw

Yeah, I was debating where this would better be suited. I decided here because the people it targets (newer players) tend to pick the higher forum section to look at first.

Can you tell me how to set stats for a lvl 30 cleverfighter plz tell me.

[I forgot the name of the passive one >.<] XXXXXX guilds are guilds that dont war and are geared more towards groups of players who enjoy the presence of others in a guild without the hassle of preparing for wars.
