I am looking at the cash shop prices and i am thinking it cost to much. i know it the way they make money but i am seeing many characters pay 50-60 USA dollar a month on this game. Mainly buying enhancement cards which the success rate is low making them needing to pay even more and repeat. For the last 2 event the cash shop made the event item about 10000 point which means you have to fork over $25 just to buy one. now you do get alot in there but i dont need everything in that pack. I just want the costume. The teva itself cost 9600 point meaning you have to fork over another $25 for one month. it just cost to much for all these item. I did some math and if my math is right for each 700 point it cost $1.00 dollar. To me that does that sound like a lot but it can add up fast.
For me I dont really have alot of money to spend on this game but looking at the amount i have spent on this game in about a month i think i should start playing WOW. WOW cost about $30 USA dollars for 60 days.. it would most likely be cheaper to play WOW at the rate i am going and for many other player it would really be cheaper. This game is not even done and they expect for us to pay these prices.
Maybe Outspark should start 2 types of account one for Free users and the other is a paid user. Paid user can pay a monthly fee of some kind. The Piad user will get come cash shop items like teva and/or something that they want. They get any event item that are coming out. well this it to help keep the cost down for those user that put alot of money into this game.
What are your ideas..

i dont know about this and also if gms wouldn't need to be paid then lots of these items would be from a item merchant.

Simple solution if you feel the prices are to high- Dont pay them!! I myself am a CS user, but i have no problem with the prices of things as they are. If you do use the CS even tho u think it is too high, simply set yourself a 'spend limit' every month, that way, you never overspend and have to struggle for the rest of the month IRL XD

I've got to agree with Lunar: if you think it's too expensive, don't spend the money. The cash shop may offer things to make aspects of the game easier, but it's not essential to playing the game (in my opinion). Granted, I don't have a high level character, and when I do then perhaps I will bother to spend money for certain items each month... but so far, I haven't spent a cent on Fiesta and intend to keep it that way (at least until level 50 or so, when I'll likely splurge to regain the 10 points I'd much rather use for END than for STR, heh).
From what I can see, they've actually done a very good job of making CS items (at least some of them) desirable but not giving too much of an advantage to those who can actually afford to spend cash on them. And I'm grateful to the ones who do spend their cash... hopefully they'll make it possible for Fiesta to remain free (and, please sweet spirits, lag free) even after the official beta has come to a close.

I think the prices depend on the item. Some are more expensive for my personal game play preference. However some items, like the raccoon, give me a nice boost and are just darn cute, and because of that I'm more than willing to pay the price for it. (Also let's not forget the Dakkon suit and the insane fun chasing people around half-naked in it!) I would like to see more permanent items (SKiNG has said these are coming, yay!) but really it's not outrageous. And it's not as if you need the items to play. They make it easier yes, but you can certainly do quite well in game without them.
Set yourself a budget and don't pay more than you can afford. If you can't control your spending on a game, well... you're gonna have trouble later in life. ;p Weigh the cost against how much you really want it and will use it. It's a free game, that makes me want to spend at the Cash Shop. Think of it more as a donation to help improve the game which gives you certain perks. If there were a heavy monthly fee on top of the Cash Shop I'd be much more cranky about spending, but as is? I'm happy to throw a few bucks out to help support the game I love.

first off i am a high lvl
i have a cleric in the 60+ and teva would be really nice. also some tank still cant tank at this lvl
i have also some what stopped buying cs item because i just dont have the money
I have started a budget for this game but i really would like the event item to be cheaper.
You are also right i dont need to buy any cs item to play this. i think the GM have done a great job with the cs so there is not a huge disadvantage to the non cs player.
but the mean point in this forum is that some cs item are just to high and/or they should give out paying account. i have frined that want to +9 all there armer and weps. I would like the gm to at least consider making 2 account one free and the other a paying account. the free will be the same as we got now. the paying account will get teva, increasese storage, and some point for the cash shopto buy what ever they want or whet ever thing would be nice
I just want to try and keep the expences down. this game is stilll in the bata version. it does not have the goodies in place. Higher the lvl you get the more this game cost in the cs area.

It also depends how much money outspark need to hold this game. They need to pay servers and every employees too. So i think it is okay.
You shouldnt only think for youself. But also for the others...

Items used ot be cheaper, and used to come without the "pack" option. I agree they're expensive and I wish they'd go back to how they used to operate but making this a paid game (even for just a few members) is not a good idea.
