I cant believe the whole Shadow Quest Has Changed. In the last room, there is usually just the 3 big white monsters, there are about 7 now. Ive done Shadow Quest with my fighter and my mage and there was nothing like 7 monsters running at you. I usually take them out one by one and I didnt even lure them this time and these 6 or 7 big yokes come running at me and of course I failed.

So develoipers the changes are crap in my opinion really. Why take the fun out of the game by making it ridiculously impossible to play?? It was a challenge before now its not worth playing. Some of my friends dont play anymore cos of the shadow quest change.

My friend was very well prepared for his shadow and he failed bout 30 times now hes quit the game, and a lot others have too, so i dont understand these changes at all. People are quitting the game.

Wanna know something funny? You don't have to complete that quest to get the new spell. Just buy it from the Item merchant that sells items with fame.

But you need to complete that quest to get your "title" thing changed so that you can use the other weapons that come after that level, and armors too I think.

The monsters spawn based on the time it takes. You can reduce the trouble by killing the archer and the fighter when you're in the dark room. Then when you get to the last room, go ahead and kill the first goblin, before going after your clone. Your clone won't go after you until you approach it. When more mobs spawn, go ahead and kill the monster, they aren't hard to kill. I personally think the job change wasn't that hard and I can't picture that being too hard.

Kire i did all tht - thats how i got thru my other shadow quests I killed the archer and zorro type guy in the dark room and went to far end of the room for light to come back on. then moved to the rigt corner to bring out the first big yoke and b4 i knew it there were bout 6 other big yokes running up behind me - sorry but the changes suck.

Something that helped me... in the last room, lead your double back out of the room some distnce - as long as you can see him. The other monsters shouldn't follow you - or, at least, they didn't used to. Then you can take your clone on 1 on 1... someone correct me if I am wrong, tho.

Rofl. I have never tried that. That's a good idea actually. I gotta give that a shot on Epith sometime.

I'm just glad they made it worth worring about. Now all the previous whiners will know just how absolutely pathetic they really were...

That was the simple method people used before, it should still work as long as you're outside the field of vision of the new spawns ^^

I had 4 big ogre things come charging at me, I didn't care, i just ran around and took them out one by one. I had 4 scrolls on me, and kept an eye on my health and sp. If you have a cleric buff you with the hp/sp buff, I see no reason why you won't be able to complete the quest.
