i think he meant a second active hot bar. Well i would like to see some more options to use my items. For example adding also numpad keys as hotkeys for item usage :) It would be realy helpful considering that with more levels the chars usualy get more buffs to use. And ofcourse there is the aspect of food :) You can't put diferent food to be used under same Fkey so adding more such keys would be useful in my eyes ;)

Yeah good idea. :D At my current (low) level I'm already having problems to put all the skills & items I want in one bar... And I'm not fast enough (or even remember) to press Alt+1/2/3 to switch bars in-battle. I don't even want to think of when I get Arrest. lol (need to put arrest & unarrest in the bar...)

yes, we need more than 10 hotkeys, we have more than 10 skills, and also need room for potions etc. it is always a pain to have to remove skills as there isn't room for them due to the limited hot bar. at bare minimum extend it to the full F12 keys, if not adding a whole other bar. it seems a shame how we can't use some skils as there isn't room for them on the hotbar.

Probably won't happen, but it would be nice.

I had to remove blazing and sharp weapon from my bar because they were taking up space (it took me only a day getting used to timing it and buffing from the skill book, but I can't imagine attacking with that.)

Next best thing to a 2nd hot bar? Have one bar for soloing, another for partying, and the last one for AOEing but have their hotkeys more or less similar.

Only difference between my soloing and partying bars is that one has no sheep helm/real helm hots on them and the other one has room for when I get more skills ^^

Gonna have fun putting my AOE hotbar together when I hit 71 though ;p

you gain more skills with levels. it wasn't a problem when at lower levels, there was plenty of room, even room for sheep helmet, normal helmet, and emoticons.

so many skills? try: Invis, Threaten, Poison blow, cruel blow, blind side, evil voice, enhance, accuracy, rapid step, circle trap, sand storm, HP/fruit & MP. and more skills to come as we level.

that's 13 skills that i'd like to use regulary. even with different AOE hotbars it's not enough as i often stil need blindside etc when doing AOE. and then there wil be more skills to come in the future.

i use al these regulary, i'm sure many other classes also have similar problems, though maybe easier, eg mages only need to have one active attack skil at a time that they spam.

due to the limited space i already have to remove 3 from my arsenal, hence reducing my effectiveness. with more skils later it'll mean removal of more.

yes it's possible to use alt+2 etc, but that takes time, and you can't do it effectively in the heat of battle while doing threaten, blindside, spaming pots etc. they need to be all active, so we can activate them instantly with a press of a button.

But, you can always just click on your skill list for buffs more then 1-2min.

I'm actually in agreement with you, Euph... half the challenge of playing, is determining what style of play you choose. My hotkey bar is EXTREMELY offensive, i have only on passive skill on the bar, and thats arrest. I use a second hotkey bar for passive skills such as: concentration, magic shield (this gets toggled from the main bar, to the secondary bar, depending on the map, and compostion of my current party), unarrest (the second bar is also my "map run" bar)... and the third bar is my PVP bar. I switch between them pretty quickly (pressing Alt + The number you want [Alt+1 for hotkety bar 1, Alt+2 for bar 2, etc.] is a pretty quick way)

it all depends on your prefernces, and the skills you set on your bar show your playing style, and what you prioritize.

and personally, I think a second bar would confuse me... being the simple Mage that I am (I have a one track mind... attack, defend, kill, burn) :D

Yea i cant fit everything on one bar, though it doesnt bother me too much because their not very useful the ones ive left out, or i have another hotbar (2\3) for situations when that skill is needed (aoe\pvp)

2 hotbars would be pretty handy i guess, they could have it as the number keys (not numpad) as they would be right under your F keys.

But, you can always just click on your skill list for buffs more then 1-2min.

That's exactly what I do and it works pretty nicely. :P It freed up two spots on my hots (though I do not suggest this for acolytes, it is very cumbersome)

it is a pain to always have the skil tab open, taking up valuable realestate where you might want to click.

yes, it is ok to have skils like rapid step on a 2nd bar, but skills like enhance need to be rebuffed every min (thats a short buff timer) even when in mid battle, hence the pain of switching bars. i also know we'll be getting more skills in 3rd... and 4th class, there is no room for more skills.

i don't see why some people have voted no. they could easily solve the problem for those that need it. and if people don't need it at lower levels then the don't need to use it till they get to a level where they need the space. trust me when we get to 3rd and 4th class everyone will really need more than 10 if they want to use their full arsenal even when using multile hotkey bars or the skill book.
