That's certaintly true... they should just add an hour to each estimated time and just tell us that it "was resolved unexpectedly quickly" rather than say, oh no, it was delayed...

maybe becasue i think most ppl already know it take double the time they set it will be and end up doing something else with those 2~4 hours of extra time on their hands..
well i'm going to sleep just to wake up in 3 hours ok bye everyone take care now......

I think people have lost faith that the downtimes will EVER succeed. Maybe outspark needs someone from Square Enix or WOW to step in and help you guys out :cool:

mmmhh yeah tell us you are gonna take 4 hours to do a server check, then fix them in 2 hours and 15 minutes and get screamed at by everyone because they didnt know the server check was finished.
This is computerland folks and synchronising new data into old often has glitches etc etc etc. So you cant play the game but during server checks I have so much fun reading the posts here on the forums and adding my 2 cents to them :D

lol... 95% of the time maintenance runs shorter then announced usually by quite a bit...
past few with extended time period have been a fluke then again the more you add the more there is to fix up each time ...
All hail SKiNG for doing what was always needed giving us a clue when we could just be left in the dark going what the heck is going on...
