OK, I just got this idea.

Once the guild system is up, and you can join/create guilds, make a warzone. In the warzone guild members can attempt to raid an enemy guild for EXP, kron, and/or rare items (like YWM, SSF, leathers, anything that's hard to find). The members donate kron to thier guild, and the leaders use that kron to purchase protection measures for their vault. Such measures could include a small labyrinth (not too difficult for the sake of time), Vault Guardians, traps (Neophytes can have a chance to disarm these depending on thier lvl, and mages can detect them), building reenforcements (more on those in the next paragraph), and decoy chests (fighters can smash locks or destroy chests at risk of damaging goods if it isn't a decoy).

Also, there will be siege weapons (such as battering rams, ladders, torches, etc.). These will be used to get through the guild building's reenforcements. Using the donated kron form members, the leaders can purchase reenforced doors, barred windows, a wall, a moat, etc. And, if the upgrades get too damaged (maybe 10 successful attempts) the upgrade is destroyed and must be repurchased.

But the guild gets EXP for raids (more for successful than unsuccessful), and the leaders use this EXP to upgrade or repair the additions they bought with donated kron (this will save having to donate more just for repairs)

I think this will be a great addition and give the players more to do than just kill and gain EXP repeatedly. Of course there will be a limit on how many raids each player can do in 24 hrs, (maybe 3 or so) so not to distract them from the acual game itself. This will also bring the guild members closer together rather than just "Hey, let's go party and kill monsters."

To acknowledge that I read your thoughts here's added thoughts.


All guild created need to have a certain number of members before participating in raids. (to prevent dummy guilds)
The guardians will be like the monsters in the mine, you need a party to take them without using up all your pots.
Guilds can only be attacked once every 24 hrs. (this to prevent once guild getting picked on)
All upgrades/addons are the same, so no guild will have stronger defenses.

that sounds great.... though i wonder how much will be implemented in reality. i'd just be happy if a FFA PVP was available ASAP.

i like your way of thinking, it'd be cool if they implemented this kind of things in some form. player Vs Mob is a bit dull (after several hundred ouurs of killing thourands, or millions of mobs you don't want to see another mob). and most online games gain real populatiry(and fun) when it is pllayer Vs Player. mobs are pradictable (squishy stands in the right spot and they won't get aggro etc), while humand are unpradictable, making it much more fun.

the sound of these suggestions seem to make the stronger guild gain more, i imagine when guilds come out there will be one or two elite guilds domenating, and a lot of other guilds being beaten up all the time. giving bonuses to the dominating elite guilds will just make it more unballanced.

well i don't know what will be implemented, but it's great hearing the imaginative ideas. maybe there will be more good ideas (i remember a great thread on guild ideas about a month ago)

in reality they will probably implement it in a similar way to fiesta.

i just hope the guilds do not create too much seperation in the community (this is common with guilds). At the moment everyone is friends with everyone, and with guilds it could cause some division in the community, loving your guild members and hating the others.

well anyway, it'll all be more interesting when they implement it, (outspark, can you give us a rough timeline)

I hope the open PvP and guilds come soon.

there isn't one

events section is the most common place for guilds however

yeah all guild stuff seems to be in the events section, thugh i think they should really make another sub-section for guilds (especially when they are released) they are technically not events.

That's why I posted it here, becuase there isn't a guild thread. :p I know my idea may be a bit difficult due to the detailI put into it, but I wanted people to discuss what they like about the idea and give pointers or add thoughts of thier own.

why ont talk about something relevant? Its not like some member of the Dev team is surfing these forums, and they're gonna see it and be all ZOMG!!! I gotta go to work tomorrow and put that into the game!!!

No one will. Just us and we can't do anything about it so theres not really any point in even discussing it.

It'd be like seriously discussing something like "Hp/Mp pots" "Exp for High lvls" or any of those other things we aren't going to get. Let it die man cmon
