Normal or What?

hey guys, just want to know if its normal or not. i have 40 lvl axe +8, i took a little test when i dealt on one mob for 205 dam with axe +1 while axe +8 for only 285 dam. so is it normal or just a small bug, i was hopin' for like 450 dam with +8 :confused: plz tell me something about this, thanks

Well, the mob has defense too, you know. Try hitting a slime with a +1 then with a +8 and you'll see the difference
