A question about dieing?

Someone told me that you could actually loose a level if you die too much. Is this true?

no, they changed that. But you do lose 7% of your exp, at higher levels that is a LOT of monsters.

yeah u could lose levels which sucked.
but now u just stay at 0%
7% thing still bites tho
the higher u get
the harder it is to get it back

It's really irritating to lose so much experience once you get past lev. 30. Especially with a mage. My squire does well. I gave up on the aco. But this mage .... I originally only wanted to do the mage part. Ughhhhh! Am having second thoughts.

You cannot de-level anymore since CB. THe other day I was bored and running through the new maps and I died 30+ times at 0% so sure you can't de-level from dying to much.

well, dieing is dieing im not botherd it is a pain, but its a part of the game thats there that nobody likes, sots is a perfect game, so there has to be somthing we dont like right? XD

umm... she said it gets irritating when you get past lvl 30. And that is about the time it STARTS getting irritating...
also she didn't say how far past lvl 30...and i'm pretty sure lvl 55 is past lvl 30. :P

Lol, gets irritating at 30? No way. It got irritating at lv 40 for me, hard at lv 50+, probably crazy at 60+, and most likely suicidal at 70+ O.o

i really got irritated around 40 as well... 30s i could still manage even though im an aco...

SoS randomly froze for me and I died from a random monster that I could've killed in 7-10 hits... I had full health, so pretty lame. Spending a long amount of time grinding, dying, then having to spend the same amount of time to gain the lost exp is very frustrating.

I might take a long break if it keeps happening.
