I know this is a very stupid question but ... how do i get the skill heal.

if u are a "cleric" u can buy the skill at lvl 3.
NPC is the first on your right as u enter the town from the forest.

Actualy she is the second NPC on the right when entering from the forest. The first is the Title Merchant.
You are looking for Ruby the skills merchant.
If you press M to open your map you can mouse over the various icons on that map and get a tooltip explaining who they are, Keep in mind that you are the heart.
