what are your opinions about adding some sta to your rogue build? or how much did you use add at what lvl

We're told right before first job change that agi and sta are the two most important skill for the neophyte, which I'm sure is one of the reasons why sta is a prerequisite to becoming a neo. However, I think it's kinda useless. It only gives you +10 hp per point. If it did something else, say raise def, then it would be decent. As it is, for each point you add to it, you lose a point in agi which will bring up attack, dodge, attack rate and skill criticals (not for each point, but cumulatively).

Also, with more hp, you may be able to take more damage before resting, but without the dodge to miss attacks, and the other three to kill mobs faster, you'll probably be resting around the same amount of time. Not only that, but you'll have to be resting longer to bring back your hp (hp regen doesn't go up by much with higher hp).

So imo, sta sucks. You can make the case for men, and possibly for pow (though it's a poor argument), but not for sta. They really need to have it bring up shield in order to make it a core attribute like the rogue guild master states. Having another attribute to play around with would also make it more fun when testing builds. Might also help for some of the imbalance between squire and neo def. It's frustrating when squires can get away with using 2 and 4 ap equips, and we have to use 6ap to stand toe to toe with them. And yes, I know we dodge more, but with blaze they get more hp so it kinda cancels out.

My brother who's now a knight had a cake walk soloing the 1st lvl of the mines at 60. I'm 61 with almost all +3 4/6ap equips, better than he had, and I have to rest every 3-4 mobs because they do around 6 damage to me instead of 1-2 like him.

So in short, I would add none.

don't forget you also get a bonus HP and MP every time you level. so your health pool and manna pool will grow as you become higher level.
