For those of you who don't know, QoL stands for Quality of Life.* In a game setting the better the QoL is the longer players will continue to play.* With that said here are a few suggestions to improve this games QoL.

*1)* Add an ignore function.* This will probably be the most useful in-game tool and I'm sure our more mature players will find it's warm wooly feel very comforting.* I put this as #1 to not only stress it's importance to those of us not interested in the polution some players spew from their finger tips, but I find that in most games it's an integral part of the game itself in saving us from the mad rantings of a derranged attention deprived lonely 14 yo emo kid.* Don't even get me started on those kids who feel the need to call everyone n00bl3t.

*2)* A search function.* I found a post in the bugs section but found it belongs here.* No I'm not trying to steal your idea, please sir take a bow for I thought it was a very good idea indeed.* However the mechanics can be simplified.* Instead of typing out /whoall/mage/cleric/etc., you can simply type /find or click a button to pop up a screen at which point you can filter by class, level, whether or not they're looking for instances/hunts and if they're even willing to form a party or solo.* Anyone in your ignore list will be filtered out as well.

3)* More controls.* My GF who plays this game has trouble because she didn't grow up on the fps pc games that I did and configuring her control is much harder then I thought it would be.* That being said, under the control option you should be able to configure a controller to work with the game without having to configure using a third-party software.

4)* Easier chatting.* To start chatting is easy, just press enter, type your prefix and start chatting.* But when you're* done and you aren't paying attention trying to move you've got something that looks like this "wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww".* Now this might be funny but when done continuously it gets annoying.* Therefore I suggest that when you press enter when you're done typing you immediately exit chat mode.

That's all I can think of for now.

5) A separate section of forums entitled to giving suggestions for the game (the suggestions forum).

6) A more in depth beginner's guide/bestiary/item bestiary (this will take a lot of time but I'm willing to help make it happen and make the new players feel more comfortable knowing what this unknown item they have does)

7)* A forum category for fan-fiction based*(or not based) on the world of Isya. This will make things more interesting and will even add sort of a story to the game.

Chat should be done similarly to EQ. Really, that's the best setup I've found for it. "Enter" opens a chat line. Once you've sent the chat, it closes. Hit enter if you want to say something again. "/" also opens the chat line so it can be used for commands.

And, yes, I've had teammates die so that I could say "4444444444444."

City of Heroes works similarly with the chat commands.* / opens up the chat window as well as enter.* I've found that closing the chat window right after finishing really is the best things in case something spawns near you and starts attacking.

8)* In game clock.* Several times now I've missed out on the kingdom quests because I didn't know what time it was.* Trying to check the time while fighting is a pain and very frustrating when you realize you've missed out on one of the quests.* Also, just like the world notices appear in the middle of the screen, an icon representing the kingdom quests should appear in either the upper right hand corner of the screen near the map, in the upper left hand corner under your info. or on either side of the screen for one click joining.

9)* Waypoints.* I got my King Slime Kingdom quest when I was level 6 and NO ONE in game was willing to tell me where to go to complete it.* I finally found it 6 levels later.* When taking a quest you should have the ability to make certain quests active and waypoints should appear on your map with a little pointer telling you which way to go.

10)* Level appropriate quests.* This King Slime Kingdom quest I recieved at level 6 is far to high for anyone not lvl 12 or higher.* I finally did find where to go but realized after taking 203 pts of damage from one boar that there was no way a level 6-11 would be able to finish it without the aid of some higher level friends.

1) Completely agree. I've seen my share of chat spammers and there's nothing I can do about it.

2) I wouldn't use the in-game search, but the forums definately need a search function.

3) I'm content with the controls, but I can see some people having issues.

4) It bugged me at first, but I made a habit of hitting enter twice. If they changed it now, I'd be the one typing "wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww"

5) Agreed.

6) I think the beginners guide is fine, it's up to use users to make databases for eachother.

7) After seeing some people in-game and these forums, I really, really don't want to see the type of fiction they write.

8) KQs start every 2 hours and there's a clock on the KQ menu itself. I don't think you need another clock to remember which interval (odd or even) of your local time they start.

9) I wouldn't agree with waypoints, but a way to track your quests without opening the log (like have some counters on the side of the screen) may make things easier. Quest descriptions usually (read: usually) tell you where to go.

10) Kingdom Quest quests are given at the minimum level so you have a lot of time to complete them. There's usually a few quests in the chain, so if you get them at the last few levels you may not be able to complete them before you outlevel the KQ.

1. even though i haven't come across players like this, i totally agree.

2. Agreed, i feel guilty posting something, knowing there is proly another post asking the same question.

3. yeah it sort of sucks, but alot of games only give you a certain way to use controls, you just need to learn to adjust.

4. god, thats the one thing i hate about the game. esp since its alot easier to use hot keys, its a hassle to pus esc twice to get out of the chat screen

5.i think that is what the feedback section is for...

6. agreed, and one outside of the game client ,cause its really laggy

7. i think that can be done in the of topic section...

8. i dont thin any game has a clock like that... just rmember every two hours, not so hard.

9. have you trieda sking in fourm. i have found people in fourm answer quickly

10. what nellshini ("/user/34999") said
