The need to be cool in PvP

I am talking about very high levels going into Roumen PvP.

Now, before you post, I don't mind high levels going into Roumen PvP, nor an I ranting them in any way.

I see this very often in PvP now, especially in the Roumen PvP zone, where there is an extremely high leveled player trying to be e-cool. How you might ask? By walking. Yes, walking. They walk around in their fully pimped up glowing gear and anybody that runs up to the, BAM, they get 1-hit KOed and they continue their walking. Again, I don't mind this, but I do mind that they try to rub it in people's faces.

What I'm trying to say is that yes, high-leveled players can go in Roumen PvP and own low-leveled players but could you own us polietly?

haha XD own us politely XD lol....well whe ni go into pvp zone i ran/walk around. i usually go there after i lvl to take a break from all the grinding. when i walk/run if someone tries t oattack me i defend myself, is this wut you mean?

Hehe, well, part of the point of an MMO is to compete with other people and feel better because these people who achieve highly in MMO's may not do so irl :P Indeed it is very rude to be so pompous, but I believe the entire point of a Roumen pvp is so that when the higher leveled players have had a bad day they can venture to Roumen to pwn some newbs.

They really just want to feel like they're better than other people, and this is a competitive game, who easier to be better than than a new player? It really is simple logic, admittedly nasty but very simple.

I admit, the higher levels could at least make the owning more polite and perhaps fun XD "Ok, you all stand in one spot and I'll cast frost nova. First one to escape alive wins!"

the way the game was designed was for pvp for the whole game, but this version they changed so not, this is what i have read and heard form people who have played shine (korean one) :) so be happy, thats why this game has so called un written rules, in korean one it a anything goes for the whole game i am told :)

idk i think PvP in roumen is fun u get to talk to higher lv which mostly likey u will never meet becasue of the lv differnce. They sometimes give some good words of advise and build and thing what they exp. i don't mind it a bit. this also gives u a chance to see there attack i mean see their animations i love the mages animations they killed me so many times but i didn't cared i was dying in style.. lol falling ice, burning fire aoe attacks rule (to bad i don't know the names of them...)

i go always to roumen PvP cuz i find there always ppl of my lvl [47+] there
by the other hand when i go urus i find 3-ish VERY OFTEN o__0

I go into the roumen PvP ALOT b/c there is no one in the other 2 BZ's and I usually tell all players too attack me and give them a 10 sec head start then I MB them all in 1 hit ^^ but usualy I stand on the stairs and kill every1 that comes near and for some reason they all whine b/c they cant restone and I tell them to go to town to restone and they say im lieing and you cant do that >.> If some one asks nicely though I usually let them slipe by, and if they shout "I got by her, ohh im soooo good" then I go kill them :D.

I was in roumen and a level 3x requested my help saying that some high levelled players were there killing them repeatedly and they were unable to enjoy pvping people around their level. I went in with my noob gear and true enough the minute they spotted me they tried to kill me. When I asked them politely to let the lower levels have their fun, one of them had the audacity to tell me that "noobs are proud to be killed by pros". =_=

I couldn't do much as I was alone and there were a group of them attacking me, even when I wasn't retaliating, healing or stoning. I could only advise the lower levels to do something else until these NOOBS get enough of their 'cheap thrill' and leave the spot. Of course I fully understand these NOOBS can only gain satisfaction from killing lower levels as they probably get pwned badly at the higher level playgrounds. :p

well it seems to me this could be solved easily...and make the game probably alot more fun..make different PVP battle grounds for different levels...hear me out..like keep the open level spots where anyone can join but also add in options like for people level 1-10 and 11- 20 and so on and so for just so the new characters (not newbs because alot of low leveled characters are people who have been playing for abit and have other characters higher levels) can fight other characters that are around their own level with having some high level come in and one hit them and sucking the fun out of everything....and maybe even add a duel feature so that u can test your abilities against someone else without another character waltzing in and picking a side... just my thoughts cause i know i didn't like going into the PVP grounds and getting knocked off by a high level as soon as i got in...i like to have an epic battle not having to hide and run to the shadows so the higher levels didn't see me when i was a low level...

Hmm i usually go roumen pvp and chill. I only kill those that bully ppls whos way lower lvl than them and action about it. I also always kill those mages 2x~3x that loves to camp at enterance and do their aoe skill to kill those really low lvl ones. :cool:

I don't mind higher levels walking around and stuff, because a lot of the people in PvP are, well, bored, LOL. As long as they don't restrict people from a certain place, I'm fine. Like if people walk around, I'm okay, but if they pace back and forth and just kill everyone that tries to pass through, that's rather annoying.

Most of the time, if I'm killed, I don't say anything. If they proceed to kill me over and over again, I'm sure there's a few other people that wants to help gang up and kill that person with me >O

But yeah, it annoys me when people block the trail in the pvp zone and I can't get to the stone NPC. I get picked on a lot on my fighter. I tell them they will regret it, but they don't listen. Then I just log in in Yosei and clear the trail.

I don't agree with the highers going to kill the lowers for any reason. I think highers killing lowers just shows how stupid the highers are, and furthers the sterotype that all highers are ***** *****, and the majority of them are. Of course I also hate PvP for the most part, but epithians get a chance to try and kill Daos 1 on 1 sunday ~12 noon PST in the eld free pvp zone XD

I always watch if people are rude or high lvl farm players :P So I ONLY kill the high lvls to let the low lvls have their fun there ^^ My personal opinion is that if high lvl kill low lvl is really stupid. Tell me about it. I was like 'huh?!!!!' when I heard that. Unfortunately they were a group of about 5 or 6 level 5x and 6x and I was only a 5x guildless cleric so I had to walk away. :(

This is what happens when people let their levels get to their heads.

Fear not though...my mage is catching up and hopefully one day I can pvp them and tell them I thought they would be proud to be killed by moi. :p :D

Sorry but did I miss something? Is there some rule agianst "walking" in pvp areas now? Someone posted saying he/she understood that by high levels "walking" they were saying "no matter how slow I am I still own you" yeah well it's the same as a high lvl running round cp not aggroing right? so does that mean they shouldn't ride thru cp in case they might offend someone just because they are high enough to not-aggro and can therefore "own" them thru shear power??? I think not ~.~


Then again ... I'm also tired of high levels (generalizing "high levels" here) thinking it's their job to "police" these areas ~.~ Sure you can go in to protect your lower lvl friends; but I will kill anyone in pvp that I can unless they ask me not to (if they ask for me not to and have done nothing obscene or rude to me then of course I'm going to stop and respect that) So if the person being killed doesn't complain don't butt in ~.~

For the first time i read that walking in pvp areas can be something "bad"...:confused:, however its true that most of high lvl spend thier time in Roumen BZand for me <if i go there> this is sometimes good oportunity to test my skills against players who i will propably never fight outside pvp<Koran, StarLeona and many others>.
Usually this is quick and predictable end for me :D<lvl diference and i dont use stones because i dont see a reason for that(i still must watch on my silvers ;) )>, but i never complain about being killed because i known that this is pointless<in pvp expect that you kill or someone kill you>.
