Quite Possibly the Future of Archers

Since all I see in this class section anymore is depressing threads about the declining archer population and complaints (I barely even post here anymore because of this), I wanted to see the reaction to a fairly lesser known thread originally posted in General. I think it more appropriately belongs here.

Basically a test session which reveals archer's entangle, a new AoE and what seems to be a debuff. Enjoy ^^

The original was general - I'll hunt for any in the archer section and delete this one (replace original post with an edit link to original).

EDIT: I see it quoted a few times in new skill threads - but never in the entirity (or crediting the original) =x

yeah...i posted a thread about this, but i hear those are the new skills for the lvl cap. so that means these skills arent meant to fix the current problems.

woohoo archers get a pwnage skill woohoo power to archers also it looks awesome and painful even though it did like a 100 dmg but remove all those buffs and scrolls and def stats it would hurt A LOT

yeah...i posted a thread about this, but i hear those are the new skills for the lvl cap. so that means these skills arent meant to fix the current problems.

I heard that only some would be = entangle would be one I'd assume comes earlier in the game, as would the debuff =x

omg i want that AoE. *DROOLS* i bet if we get that and mages use nova lol we would be so laggy. But its probably going to be 80+ for that skill T_T. And thats not going to be very usefull because no archers want to go past lvl 60-79. But man i will try XP

Im only lvl 24 but I hope that by the time I get to the point where i dont have to solo for $$$ for gear(im still using my lvl 14 boots and 16 hat) and need to party to level, the balances will be put in place.

Awz...I feel sorry for you. People will notice what the fact you having lower-levelled boots in Gold Hill...it kinda deters them.

Back on topic, do you guys know if there actually a post saying that the skills would be implemented? I'd hate to see pretty skills like that, and then being told that we won't get them...

the main reason im behind is that no one buys my stuff so I just keep them in my bank. My bank is almost always full.

Lawl, I had nothing higher than level 15 equips until level 30 ^^

LIAR! I want to cap on my archer, if nothing else just to prove the worth of the archers XD I am currently mostly on a break though until there are more high lvl clerics that can keep me healed >.<

EDIT: Yes those skills look awesome, and of course wouldn't mind another AoE, you just know mages are gonna complain if we get more AoEs than them...

yeh because really if you gave those skills to like a lvl 20-30 then theres gonna be people who are pretty immature to boast about the power of thier skill and higher lvls do need it more than lower as there arent a lot of high requirement skills for thier use
