I completed the KQ quest with other people and when i opened the present box, i recieved the msg failed to load item information, and got nothing.

I had the same issue and my inventory was NOT full.

Inventory was not full, I was hoping for a shiny new weapon but poof, nothing T.T

By the way, my inventory was not full.
