loading takes 3-4mins.. why???

Why is that so??? when I enter a gate/portal just to go to another map... it takes 3-4mins of loading... why???? T_T

It could be that your system is at or slightly below the minimum specs for the game, or it could be that your connection speed is very low, or a combination of both. Probably more related to System memory and Video memory, though.


Please post your system specs as follows and we'll take a look:


run DxDiag (Start>Run>dxdiag>OK...check System and Display Tabs for:


Operating System (Exact version, also is it an English Language version or something else?)


Processor


Memory


Page File


DirectX version (needs to be 9.0c!)


Display Device Name


Approx. Total Memory


Display Device Driver Version (ex: 6.14.xxxx.xxxx)





Also, what is your internet connection speed? Use the on-line speed test site of your choice or you can check at:

Click the spinning yellow pyramid and post back what you get for download speed, upload speed and latency (ping).

Your interent speed looks fine, so that does not seem to be the problem.


More System Memory (RAM) would help...you currently have "only" 256Mb of RAM on your computer, which is less than the minimum System Requirements for the game.


Windows XP iteslf uses about that much just to run (You meant XP, I am guessing, as there is now Windows XD), so if you increased your RAM it would definitley help Fiesta, and everything else on your computer.


RAM however is hardware, it is is something you need to buy and install on the computer. When you uninstall or delete programs and files on your computer, you are increasing the amount of Hard Drive Space on the system, which can also be good if your hard drive is almost full, but it will not really help a situation where a particular program is running slowly.


So, probably the thing that would help the most is to install more RAM, and this would help your overall system, not just Fiesta.


One other thing you should check is your video card/device. Since you can play the game, obviously it is "good enough", but depending on exactly what it is and how much video RAM it has (video cards have their own RAM, separate from System RAM), i9t may also be related to the very slow loading of Zones in Fiesta.


Go back to the DirectX Diagnostic Tool and look at the Display Tab...what does it say for Device Name in the upper left (this is your video card/device) and what does it say for Approximate Total Memory (this is the amount of Video RAM it has)?

I also experience lag at times somtimes loading will freeze and cannot work,others is that when i talk the words does not come out and sometimes characters does not come out in a new map,pls help me!!
