Should we be able to change our in game name?

I was wondering what everyone thought of the idea of being able to change your character's name? I'm sure everyone's had a time where they made a stupid character name and then regretted it further down the road. I made two characters with similar names and now kind of feel silly at having two characters with almost the same name. Sure I could always delete one and start that character over, but both character's got makeovers from the v-day event and I'd rather not delete either of them. Obviously if they were ever going to let us change our character's name, it would probably be a cash shop item, but I think I might be willing to pay for it, if it wasn't too expensive.

They only downside to having your character's name changed is that you would have to let all your friends know you were doing it or they'd wonder why there was a strange person on their friend's list.

Once you make it, hopefully you realize before its too late. If you realize it at lvl 30-40, well, its not too good, since it does take effort to get there. If you realize at like lvl 6, then it should be ok, since you can just restart. My point is, you shouldnt be able to change it, because you chose it, if you don't like it, well, thats your fault.

It is possible to have your character's name changed. You have to PM a GM and request a name change. I don't know if they will do it for everyone or if you need a good reason to have it changed, I've never asked.

It would be alright.. it just depends. I mean if you created a character without any specific aim in mind and end up at lvl 40 regretting everything about your character, you'll have to be able to change all the things that you dislike about it. Its just like skill empowerment and points allocation. that's why they have that stuff to reset your points in the cash shop.

GMs generally only change names if the current name is against the ToS, and if people haven't been reported yet and they realize their mistake, the GMs may allow them to change it to what THEY want, instead of what the GMs decide to give them.

As for name change being available, I don't think ti should be, cash shop or not. Really it would just get confusing anyway so...but if names were able to be changed I think it should be announced serverwide so everyone knows.
