i've been playing fiesta for a while and i have noticed that alot of players including myself have been getting ignored when they have very legitment questions. i was wondering if a lack of gm's might be part of the issue and was wondering if there is a process one could go through to become a GM, i love helping people and i have quite a bit of spare time on my hands and would even be willing to be one without being payed :p. i just would like to be part of the fiesta team! So if there is a way for this to happen i would like to be contacted asap plz. thank you for your time and hope to hear from you soon!

GM Dakkon and SnakeEyes always answered my questions when I asked them. Usually PM'ing them on forum works the best, but you can ask them ingame too (Not when they're hosting an event because they would be busy.)
Also, you should've PM'ed this to one of the GMs instead of posting on here... I don't think they're looking for more GMs but good luck anyway.

yeah, to become a GM, you have to apply for it like any other job, if you look at the forums, GM SnakeEyes and CSR Cretz both said that they are not hirering any more GMs atm^^

Do know that being a GM isnt a "hobby" or just for "fun", its a FULLTIME JOB, just like your parents work at a bank or as a carsalesman (for example) for a living, GM is a fulltime job 50 hours a week not a playground.

Outspark operates Monday through Friday and handles all support issues with a 72 hour return time. Therefore, if you submit your ticket or PM on Friday, you may need to wait as long as Monday to receive a response however if you submit a ticket/email/PM during the weekdays, it almost always will be answered the same day. In the meantime, I ask for your patience and they will reply as soon as possible.

its 21 cause you need to study also some programming and all, cant really expect a 18 year old fresh from school to know all yet and already have experience to(some might but most dont)

Actually they should know programming centrix, they are the ones making CS and this also requires programming, minor yes but it still requires it.

No they are not... GM's arent the only persons working at Outspark you know...
GM's are GM's, not Developers, Webmasters, Server managers, Financial managers and advisors, CEO, Studio Officer, Producer, aaaaaaaand so on.
GM's are GM's! They run and maintain the game. The only thing they develop are player/customer relations in and outside the game.
Here's a list of what GM's do:
Responsibilities and Expected Results:
- Maintain and update database of thousands of users on a daily basis
- Account action and account troubleshooting
- Develop and maintain customer/player relations in and outside the game
- Maintain an in-game administrative presence and enforce game policies and rules of conduct
- Be an informative resource for the company’s user base
- Monitor networking and game functionality with the use of in-house tools
- Collect, investigate, and process various data regarding in-game issues, exploits and bugs
- Help brainstorm, create, plan and execute community events and future content for a game
- Evaluate games for potential acquisition
- Work closely with Project Managers and team members to ensure milestones are met in a timely manner

The GMs don't ignore you. They're multitasking and they probably have like 20+ players talking to them at a time. Helping us is only part of their job but I'm sure someone has said this in this thread, I'm too lazy to read it right now lol.
Patience is key, and timing. Sometimes you won't be able to get their attention at all, sometimes you'll get their undivided attention ^^

true, I've always gotten, answers from in the same day mostly, although it also depends on timing(they can have switched in hide online so they dont get bothered as much)
TheCentrix

And dont forget they dont work 24/7. They might just left the office when you send in the email/PM, which means you'll have to wait almost a day to get an answer.
Sometimes they cant answer all the emails and PMs they have in one day and it piles up for the next day! (yes they get a LOT of messages)

I dont, I have timezone which runs ahead of them, I post in the morning and get reply in the evening ^^
I do wonder why this thread keep popping up, especially cause there is still the sticky about this and its still on the fron tpage ><

PMing the GMs on the weekend isn't a good idea. You may not get a reply(if you get one at all) til like Thursday or Friday lol.

If you type with the spelling and grammar of a little kid, most people will treat you like a little kid. This isn't an insult, it's just a fact when the only contact we have with someone over the internet is through written word. Using "chatspeak" and bad grammar will not get you points for applying for a job. My mom is a national manager for a corporation in the food service industry and she has told me that she has begun to receive resumes [sic] containing "chatcpeak" and/or "textspeak". She immediately throws these resumes [sic] out without so much as glancing at them. Honestly, when I read your posts in this thread, I thought you were about twelve years old just by the way you typed.

Me too, to be honest >_>
Sometimes I type chatspeak aswell, but there are times where you can not do that. I'm not english or american at all so I know my grammar isnt at its best, but I sure try.
If you compare my posts on the forums and chat ingame, you won't even recognize it's me XD

I know there are places you can use "chatspeak" and I agree with you, sometimes it is appropriate to use. When I am in-game, I don't waste time trying to spell every word if I need to type fast; but when asking on the forums to be a GM it isn't the best (despite the fact that it shows you don't read the stickies).

Forums aren't the place to "t4lk liek diz".
I despise it when people talk without using punctuation. Without caps... I may let it slide, but punctuation, yes.

As much as "chatspeak" is annoying, some people use it as an alternative because they can't talk proper English.
Therefore they'd rather write acronyms than full words.
The irony in the matter is that if they do attempt to type English properly people tell them their spelling sucks and I don't know what else.
But when they type "chatspeak" they simply get seen as children and it gets excused to a degree.
So yes, while I tend to prefer proper grammar, I have no place to point fingers.
Typing properly and using proper punctuation is as much my right, as it is their right to not use it.
Live and let live.
Nobody is perfect after all.
