You know how you can assign an item/action to a number key at the bottom of the screen? For some reason mine had stopped working properly for awhile. I couldn't seem to assign an item or action to any of the number keys. I dragged it from my inventory/skills window and nothing happened. I could use the ones that were already there, but I couldn't assign new ones and if I dragged one to somewhere else, the same thing happened. I first noticed this when I was in forest of mist area. I had purchased 2 new skills from the temporary skills merchant nearby, and I tried equipping them in the place of another skill I had. I am not sure what caused this, but I had a 'Increased Defense scroll (tier 1) equipped before that. Quitting the game and logging back on didn't fix the problem. I waited for the scroll to wear off--but I still couldn't equip things on the number keys. After a while it just sort of stopped and I could use them again...
