Why do people go to pvp...

I know that pvp is a good place to grind, but grinding in pvp gives good xp for taking the risk of encountering some well... pvp

Every time i got to pvp if i see someone yes ill fight them, and they always get pissed. then a pointless guild war because i only pvp when im the only one online in my guild. i dont understand why people go to pvp and get pissed if they get killed.

I think its player made laws that if you want to pvp... go to the battle zones. But usually, in the battle grounds... people usually ask first before pvping, because people mainly go there to grind. But theres no rules for these. Go at your own risk.

When I go to the pvp I understand that I can get killed, But when someone comes up and killes me in my house and the rest of my pt just because they wanted our spot that pisses me off big time. If you want to fight me fine I will and not be mad if I die but make if fare and not kill me when I am resting. Also I never like guild wars and if I am pissed at someone in pvp I will try and kill then there not bring in the both guilds in to it

Well I'm not really fond of pvp but when I'm a high enough level I'd want to go into the battle grounds to grind and hopefully find T2 shield and vitality. I for one would really appreciate it if someone asked me if I wanted to fight before attacking me.

Considering that people will lose exp in these areas, they are going to be very irate is someone comes out of the blue to kill them.
Most people go to these areas for the monsters and awesome drops, not to pvp. If people want to pvp they generally go into the free battlezones where no one will lose any exp or have to worry about monsters attacking as well.
When anyone enters one of these areas they must be prepared for the risk of being attacked by another player, and hope it's not while they are in the middle of grinding.
It's really just plain rude to attack someone, and make them lose uber exp while they were trying to gain it in the first place.

The only time I've ever attacked someone in these areas was by accident. Damn Tab key ><. But I stopped and apologized and all was good.

Once my friend was in the battlegrounds and was sharing a room with another party, and the other people killed her as part of a bet. Out of nowhere, even after sharing the room for a long time. Lost all her t3 scrolls and lost exp too. This sort of thing ticks me off.

Are you saying that she lost the T3 buffs she had from scrolls or did she actually drop T3 learning scrolls she had. I was pretty sure you don't loose items or money from pvp but wanted to make sure.

Not like I have randomly killed people in there.

But thats how BG is MEANT to be.. it has its pros and cons

Where can you PvP outside of the free battle zones?

Abbys summit in Goblin Camp. It's a PvP combines with grinding map. I find it quite annoying when there are some monster which look just like us and sometimes, my party grab a big mob then some one else run up, stand in the middle so I hit him and he cussing me for hitting him. We had like a mob of 20 monsters and 2 players like monsters, I hardly tell which is real players which is not and for the rule, if you are not in my party, i can hit you. I hate it! That guy was a jerk even though i healed him back and didn't actually kill him.

The thing with the battlegrounds is, its a great place to grind. If you have an aoe party there the exp comes fast, I went from 50 to 51 in one day, and I know I'm not the only person thats done it. The drops are great too, I find at least 2 greens every time I'm there. Thats major incentive for me to go.
I don't usually have any problems with people there, there seems to be an understanding that usually the only time another pt will attack is if they ask you to share/leave/take less mobs and you don't. You can either stay and fight or move. But to randomly kill someone, especially if their in the middle of grinding is rude. Player Kills don't cost you exp, but mob kills do, and if you fight them while they're grinding, they may lose the exp they've been working to earn. Thats probably why you get warred a lot.
Its obvious that you risk fighting another player when you're in there, but even in free battle zones I usually encounter people that ask to pvp before they strike. Its called common courtesy.
If you want to just PvP, go to a free battle ground. But in my opinion if you kill me while I'm grinding and I lose exp for it, you should expect some sort of retaliation.

Outside of Free Battle Zones or Battlegrounds you can also PvP another player if your in a guild and another guild declares war on you.

I get this all the time from parties because I solo in PVP
It wouldn't bother me as much if the person who wanted a fight didn't need guild back up the whole time with healing or damage
It also gets very annoying when people blame it on tab from the otherside of a room -.-'
But yeah, it's not against the rules, just plain pathetic
