How do you make a poll?

Ok i know im clueless but how do you make a poll?

When you make a thread, at the bottom of the page it'll have an option to create a poll, simply check the box, and the rest will be self explanatory.

Ok so thats it? All i have to do is check that box then write what i want then it makes it a poll? Thank you for your help.
