----Partial Rant---

I joined a guild after my old one went KAPOOT.
This was months ago. Beginning of the school semester I think, or close to it. So. 3 months ago? 2? Not quite sure.

Anyway, The master at the time decided he would leave the guild int he hands of my good friend James, so that he could go grind.

My friend James soon found that he wasnt lvling as much being master, so he decided to turn it over to another who could while he lvled and then came back (this is over the course of time, not immediate stuff).

He came back but didnt want to be master. Ok. Fine. His friend was having problems though (coincidentally shes both our friends, so OUR friend), sos he gave it to me. Both the old master, James, and the most recent master believe it is a good choice.
Yay!
Woot
I dont mind, really want to be an admin, but I dont mind master. I can do it. Everyones happy. Woop!

But I got harassed two weeks ago (Ive been master now for a mere days), about some guy.
He wanted me to notify my master and turn the guild over to him. Said it was HIS, he OWNED it, and that we STOLE it from him somehow.
(Note that if you are master, it is purely the MASTERS choice to promote a different master. Also, if an admin deletes the master, no new master can be assigned, so therefore there is absolutely no way anyone 'stole' it from him. As far as I know, he said he didnt want it anymore and left, promoting a new master).

Now I just tried to grind in GC (questing.. 50 goblins.. ), but i was harassed by a guy named JOEY, who claimed the guild used to be his friends, and i need to give it to him (joey) to give to his friend. How we were NOOBS, etc. And how if we did not leave, he would war us.

Luckily my friend, Endeavor, saw htis happened and gave me confidence. He said "if he wars you, let me know, we'll war him too". Of course I fully support Allies in wars, and while I DID NOT war the guy, this made me feel more at ease. Enough to think clearly and move to a safe area, notify my online members of the situation, and both file a report to a GM and post here.

Filing a report was a good choice. You're right, there is simply no way someone can "steal" a guild. Kudos on you for standing your ground. You sound like you'll be a great guild leader.

As far as this thread is concerned, however, I have to close it as it does mention specific names and can be considered blacklisting.

I wish you and youre guild all the best. Rock on! :D
