Well I'm just wondering how everyone grinds and their style. Either you solo or in a party, how's your style? You talk while you grind? You are dead serious and not talk? What is it?
I usually grind with a party and aoe. While we're at it, we joke around, have fun talking and shout. Just having a good time while we grind exp. We usually don't just grind and not talk, it's kinda boring lol I know some people just don't talk and grind grind grind, kinda like fun suckers XD and telling ppl to shut up. -_-
But how you guys do it? Any experiences you like to share? ;)

I'm usually just soloing. I don't think about exp (unless I'm past 50%) and just look at the drops I gain. Thinking about exp would just make your brain hurt especially after your 60s. :P
If and when I party I will talk if I know that person or they are talkative/interesting. But if it's just a random party invite I'm usually not talking. On top of that my chat box lags... so I can't form a sentence that makes sense at times. D:

Hmm... I talk when I get a chance, but I focus more on spam healing and not having a stress induced heart attack from the amount of monsters some of the fighters gather... (scary when I know for a fact that one fighter level 45 can't take on an entire room of the level 40-49 battlegrounds map and yet he acidentally goes for it... by the way we had 2 mages with us and aggro was kind of split but still...)
Oh by the way, I agree with the preview of the topic feature that the thread topics page shows, (hold the mouse pointer over your topic in its forum listing the way it is at the time I post this)
"... You talk while you grind? You are dead" and it cuts out there. (that's what happens to me lately...)

I like to aoe in a party, or duo with my cleric friend.

Lately I like soloing as well...Though the exp slightly slower than aoe party, I can kill mobs faster and all drops will be mine only :) Especially after I completed my Orc license, the killing became suprisingly faster :)
Unless there are extra 50% exp bonus announced, then I wouldn't be mine tagging along:)
At the moment 75%=solo, 25%=party
Oh by the way, I usually turn on my guild chat, and no, I normally don't talk when I grinding otherwise I wil be pawned by 4 orcs >.<

I either duo or solo. ^^ I don't do AoE parties since I really don't look for them. o.O
I've been duoing a lot with a fighter friend of mine. ^^ I talk a lot lol... ^^;;
I really welcome duoing with any class though :o Since I talk a lot, I think I'm enjoyable to have in party o.O
Just gotta watch that hp ^^... lol
I solo so much now since I have a duo partner :P

Either I solo orcs and archons (occasionally trumpies), do all quests I can due to the spare time as I have break now, or do Mini Dragon KQ each chance I get. This is what I've been doing with my cleric this week, as I plan to level her up as much as I can with the Spring break I've finally been granted. But recently I've gotten involved in some AoE parties with friends and such, in which this is my literal reaction...
Chat, chat, chat, having ultra amount of fun...
... OMG WHUT, I got 20%.
I don't even pay attention. xD

When I soloed in Uruga, I usually shouted and talk....soloing does get a bit boring for awhile. Parties seem nice and fun, though its hard to communicate when healing.:3 I usually type out 111111......2.

I'd love to talk when grinding, but once my hands are on the keyboard and not on my heal button, someone dies. ;~;
My grinding style.. hmm, I prefer a massive AoE party but only with people I'm familiar with.

hmmm my grinding style, well most of the time I solo, but that's only because alot off ppl in parties can be jerks or just plain rude...not saying all ppl are like this, just some that Ive partied with have been, so it puts me off the whole idea. I will duo every now and then with a friend..but when its just me, I like to take my time grinding/questing, chat to friends/ guild members/ random ppl....that's always fun and breaks the boredom.....

Haha now I just remembered why I stopped joining AOE parties lately...
During most of the time I always become the main tank, and I could barely talk at all >.<
Why?
After killing one group of mobs, other members will start saying "Don't stop, grabs other ones!!" "Why resting, we need fast exp here"..bla bla (I get a litte bit annoyed when come to this part)
So anyway, while I'm RELENTLESSLY doing the "Choo-Choo Trains" on the mobs, I had to shut my mouth all of time while others will shroom, dancing, talking, making gossips, etc until I came back...repeatedly...repeatedly T-T
Then suddenly one of them will ask, "Lol Aka, why so quiet?"
ROFL...See what I mean? :)

Depends.
I like big group AoE's with my guild, it's a lot of fun, but doing with a cleric is better exp, so I do that sometimes too. Often I can't really put in all my attention to a full AoE (working, talking to someone else) or well... just don't want to really really heavily grind and want a more laid back pace, so I solo.
As a mage I really can't chat all that much while grinding, spamming hotkeys makes chatting difficult. XD but I tend to be a real jabber-jaw while housed to recover hp/sp. :P

I typically duo aoe with Ira_2016 and she yells at me, when/if I talk.
If she's not on, I like to be in parties that talk and have fun. I'm not typically the serious, hard core grinder unless I am close to level.

Soloing, sometimes duo with a friend. The problem is that we both like to chat. So whenever I chat, my friend ends up taking aggro. Whenever my friend is chatting, I usually end up dead ^-^;

 Me yelling? NEVER! Just telling him not to talk that much when i'm luring mobs and just heal :p
I like duo aoe-ing (with khawvkoob mostly), but there are a few other paladins/clerics that trust (with regard to proper healing).
I also party, but not that much.
P.S. Your thread reminds me of what happened yesterday in TR. ;)
"Grind, grind, grind and at the end of the day just...grind some more" in game lifestyle is just too boring. I like funny people, especially when we are in party and we all "play along".
So Leens, mock please :p

Oh how my Cleric wishes for a fighter who would shroom! While they are off getting their trains I dare not shroom or start talking - I have to be ready the instant they return. Talking would mean "8888999" and shrooming would mean I might not get out of it and start healing in time. Then people say to me "Are you okay?". My reply is "If I talk people die", or more often it's "If I talkdn peoekle diee", since decent spelling goes out the window when rushed :D
I do mostly solo grinding, with the occasional chat to friends during quiet bits. I party when I'm bored and want company, or when a friend is in need. Most know by now that I can't spam heal AND talk at the same time. Just because they have time to talk while fighting because I'm keeping them alive doesn't mean I do too. :D

I do solo grinding most of the time. I usually don't talk while grinding because trying to talk when fighting, even if it's just to say something short, will usually get me killed. The only time I might ever talk when grinding is if I'm farming on my newbie character and there are no aggro mobs around anyway.

Hmm... since no other class can chat while killing a mob, i guess archers have the advantage of cracking jokes or tell stories just to keep it interesting.:D why? Well, pretty simple actually. Fighters have to keep the agro going so that the other party members dont die. Clerics have to keep an eye on the fighters HP, while mage dont have any regular attacks except using their magic based attacks.
Certain comments like "try taking 4 ogres now" just to take the challenge or "killing record is 20 secs on 4 ogres, start now!!"... These is how i keep the party alive in a different way:D Although, if the party is serious in leveling up, i try to be quiet until one of the members try to talk:rolleyes: But usually im the conversation starter, hihihi:D

I hate solo
I despise it so much
I can't not talk or hunt with people, I can't help but talk, res people, heal people etc I love the company
If no one is on my friends list and no one wants to party I will log off :p

As cleric, solo or aoe party with friends. I like to talk else within an hour you'll get me sleepy and people will die =/ I'm always sorry to my party but that's just how I am, I don't play this game just to click buttons and what. I'm here to have fun play it with people. That's why I prefer aoe parties with friends or duo with my DD-buddies or of course, my love ;)
As mage, I solo and duo 40% each of the time and the remaining 20% for occasional aoe parties. I'm item hunter and extreme farmer of mats D: rofl so yeah duo and solo are most beneficial for me.
Even as mage, I'm stil talkative. Solo makes me spam guild chat much since I have to keep myself busy less i fall asleep on my own and die because of it. In duo, after one big lure we try to joke and make fun of things, I talk to my clerics coz I don't want to bore them. ;)

I chat when I party, am dead quiet and serious when I'm soloing. As a mage, chatting when soloing is deadly. lol
I set myself a target each time I train, for example 20% in 1 hr or 1 level a day, etc. I find it helps me focus on levelling. Otherwise I would just sit and chat all day in my shroom. :p

I have no grind technique, I dont grind.
I help friends with quests and spend more timeon forums then IG, I prefer things where you need to think and need skill and not press a button in time like a robot, thats mindkilling.

I hate parties for the most part...I find I generally get the same or more exp soloing with a fraction of the annoyance. I am a lone wolf when it comes to hardcore grinding in games, but when I wanna have some fun I go grinding with Vany and some others from my guild. I don't really talk much though, as when I talk I can't heal and I die XD What I hate though is when I am solo AoEing and someone wants something, and even after I tell them hold on, or something like that, they keep bugging. I finally told Stuntman to buzz off, I'm busy.
