Do you think people are mobtraining BHL on purpose?

I notice a few low level xens are mobtraining all over BHL and driving people crazy (myself included). Thank goodness for the no death penalty.

I'm just wondering if people think it's intentional or do they just not know any better. At first I thought they might be bots, but at least one person told me "xxxxx is not a bot, just a stupid n00b" :D

I thought that was hilarious. I won't mention any names to protect the innocent and the not so innocent. If you guys have been in there you don't need names anyway, they're burned into your brain and ready for PvP slaughter by now. ;)

for now I vote they probably don't know any better. Even if it's annoying, I'm going to hold out hope it's unintentional

with some its unintensional but others its delibrate cos they wanna lv fast (don't we all?), me when i see um if they start ksing my stuff i don't mind, their're just trying to lv quickly and enjoy themselfs (not all have views like me) so i will help em out and that (does help get rid of em quicker), personally i think any one in lair should be at least lv 45+ lol well lucks and enjoy ur selfs.

I once had a xenian try to mob me and a cleric a few times...we just kept owning the mobs and they gave up eventually :D

Some are doing it on purpose (and doing it several times) while others just don't mean to...there's a clear difference.

Though this example of deliberate (small) mob training didn't happen in BHL, it happened in mythril mines...:

Squire runs past duo....squire pulls three monsters...runs back to duo...avoids the damage dealer in the duo and stops RIGHT by the acolyte...letting two of the monsters attack the aco before running off further to solo the one monster left on them.

I like to AoE there a lot, so I would be happy to take their mob from them. Sometimes I will even follow and wait till they die so that I can take their mob after they've died. lol

But yes, I don't think they know any better.

you should have added an option that says:

"we dont lose any exp, so I find it amusing seeing people get pwned by 20+ mobs, knowing that it wont have any negative effects"

I find it rather funny no matter the circumstance. The lair is there for us to have fun, enjoy ourselves without having to worry about the normal penalties and level parameters of the game.

So wats it matter if you get obliterated by 20+ mobs, resulting in one spectacular death?

I think most people don't mobtrain intentionally... Well when I'm mobbed by a bunch of ninjas all I can do is run, and this usually makes me pull a mini-train to the entrance's safe zone... lol So yeah I can't blame people for training the entrance or someone else if they're running for their life. But that Xenian... I hate her she pulls SO many mobs to the entrance I can't even move away from the sz if I die. -_-

i've been there a couple of times and its kinda hard to go farther from where you arrived because they spawn 2 or 3 at a time.. i dont think most is intentiol but if it was.. you don't really lose anything if you die... so it really doesnt matter

although personally i dont like going there coz aside from the eggs i dont think you could get anything else.. ^_^

would love to know where the people are with an AeO so that I can give them the mobs that I drag out of the entrance so that everyone can get out..if I would know where any of you are I would gladly give them to you and stick around as a ghosty to watch you take them out :D ..but I guess that I will keep trying to get them to either a party that I know is there or try to get them into a corner (which when I do that I just wait for death)

I do agree that there should be a lvl requirement though to go in there expecially if there are Xenians cause I wouldn't want to not have my favorite Super Xenian there.

And yeah I have noticed that several of the lvl 1 Xenians that pull mob trains will then go around and pick up all the loot that is dropped while the rest of us are killing off the mob.

i see sevearl aoe peeps in thier 2 knights and one mage that aoe in their and bout pulling mobs, i'll admit i have pulled mobs by accident in lair i will just stand and die, then sometimes i will run, it depends on if i have a buff (from da bunny), if any of u have seen me with mob behind and have been attacked by em then i am SOOOO SORRY and i didn't mean it:(

lol thats so true i get mobed lots in their but i don't panick i only run cos i hate the down time, but out in the field (outside lair) i will run has i don't like dieing (due to loss of exp) so if i've been out in field with mob behind me and u have been mobed cos of it then i'm sorry:(

That mage you saw was probably me. =) I have a couple spots I go to cause the mobs are always huge there. With my trusty aco, we will gladly take your unwanted mobs. So if you see someone casting lots of lightning, bring em close. =D Not like it matters if I die. lol

I do tend to agree that there are no rules in the Lair. It's just for fun.

I will remember that if I happen to see you while I am in there and when I pull the mob train out of the entrance I will bring them to you or at least your last known location. That is if my defense holds out and I don't die along the way since I don't spam pots while I am pulling a mob cause I know that I am going to die anyways, and I love watching the Aeo's in action :)

I have heard that we have the Lair for at least another week or so. So lets all have fun while it is there and enjoy the fact that we can die and it don't hurt the exp. while we got it :D

Yeah thats true, cep i don't mobtrain often a cos i don't party too often and b i ain't got a aoe yet (2lvs away lol) so i just try and avoid attracting a mob, or at least a large one!
