couldnt get out of rest mode fixed it by quitting and then joining back in

Man that reminds me i was chatting and i tried to get out of rest by HOME key and going to the home menu and selecting to the end rest key and realized it wont let you get out of rest with the chat bar thing open and ready to type in!
