View Full Version : IMPORTANT! Rant about retards joining Mean Honeying KQ

First of all, Mean Honeying KQ is possibly one of the hardest KQs out there which requires a lot of AoEs, potions, ORGANIZATION and TEAMWORK to defeat.
This mean KQ only allows 10 participants per session which means 2 parties, each party should consist of 5 members (duh), which of course includes 1 warrior (For tanking), 1 cleric and 3 DPS. Why the extra DPS? Because DPS is essential to winning this KQ, the more AoEs the better.

Now for my rant, if you are included in the following then please don't join this KQ and ruin the experience for others:

A.) A non-English speaker (Why are you playing here in the first place?)
B.) A stuck up kid who eats ego for breakfast. (Teamwork is important)
C.) Don't have an AoE. (You're practically useless)
D.) Don't have an organized party of 5 balanced classes (Not like 5 clerics or 5 warriors) before the KQ starts.
E.) Not going to listen to instructions.

Personally, there are some people who want to pass this KQ (Me for an instance), please stay out of it if you have no means of winning it.

I agree with the fact that there is alot of people in this game who dont know the meaning of organized fighting. Too many players just want to run in and attack anything no matter what class. I have only played the game for about two weeks, so there is alot about it that i do not understand. What i do understand is proper character build from the many rpg experiences that i have had. At the moment I am a lvl 27 fighter. I consider my self a good tanker. I have a DD tanker build all power and defense and a point here and there for aim and evasion. I can sack mara hideout in burning hill with no party at all. Not a great accomplishment, just know that it can be done if u have enough potions and the right build. In repling to this I wish or hope to meet players more organized in the game, or are serious about playing the game. Winning is my only option.

I agree whit most part of your post but one thing need to be adress.

Since Outspark allow connection to thier servers from outside USA they must be aware that for most players english is not base language and such question might be a base to starting something what we should avoid at all cost and i mean war against non english speak players...

I still haven't done BMH yet, because I like to stay with one KQ until I level out of that and go onto the higher leveled KQ o:

But sometimes, don't blame people if they don't know what to do. Nobody knew what to do at the very beginning, especially if it's their first time. Also, while I'm pretty flexible with directions, I absolutely hate it when somebody orders me around. I have a brain, I can use it, so if someone commands me, most likely I'll listen to somebody else.

But yeah, nubs spawn everywhere @-@; And BMH just happens to be a hard KQ.

Hmmmm I can say that personally I have been in two winning honeywing kqs. The main tanker, who is someone I will gladly follow anywhere, is not a native english speaker. His abilities as a player had him as the main tank in the kq when he was merely lvl 41 and he consisently got parties to the 2nd and 3rd rings at his "lower" lvls despite times where there were more clerics or not enough of one class or another. After he was lvl 45 we always reached the top.

What allowed the kq to be won was team work. Yes we purposely had 5 ppl join but we got our best time with the one that was fighter heavy and mage/archer light :p. It took trust and teamwork and none of the bickering that tends to happen in these kqs........

Yes the links below my siggy are to the threads from when we won the kqs if you want to read more.

The advertisement proclaims that Outspark is aimed for North America and Mexico users; which majority of them have English as their first language.
As for people who aren't the company's targeted audience, you are best to
A. Adapt to the majority.
B. Leave and play another server where your language and behavior is supported.

This isn't Maple Story global that advertises the game being in "Broken English".

P.S: with* addressed* their* and English is in capitals, thank you.

Maybe you should join to understand the frustration Crowned is undertaking.

Also, you're invalid about the not blaming people if they don't know what to do party. Why? Simple, read guides if you don't know what in God's green earth you're doing. You don't come out of your mother's womb knowing everything, thats why theres school; and in this case, theres guides.

I'm glad that you have brains too, because most people don't.

You're right, the main role in KQs like these aren't the tankers or whatever rather it is the DPS. But more importantly, teamwork is a must. You are in my eyes God damn useless if you have +9 everything and is level 50 but are unable to follow instructions.
With 2 organized parties, I'm always able to kill the mean honeying. But the spawns always kill the squishies due the lack of being able to tank all the spawns.

LOL i think you overstate your case, without a tanker there is just utter chaos. The tanker does not have to be a fighter but a tanker is a must (yes I do duo with mage tankers). I find it fascinating that you are talking about people following orders, and I suspect that it is *YOUR* orders that you want them to follow. Rarely have I seen only one way to do something, just because others have different ideas does not make it invalid. Maybe it would even work if someone (like you) would listen to thier ideas as well.

To be honest I do admit doing some of the honeywings for just fun but anytime there were people playing it seriously I played seriously. When it was just I and a few friends though sometimes it was fun to just run around like goofballs and have fun ^_^.

I also find it funny that your still picking on those who don't use English as thier main language when they tend to be the better players and the higher levels. They also tend to be the ones to work as a group the best, it may take a bit longer to get a concept across but after that they will do as well or better than the rest.

*sigh...*:(
Its really sad that in todays era of global communication still egsist people who can be "unfriendly"<i dont want to use harsh word but i should> toward people who are "difererent" as they are.
And i really never expected that speaking in other as english language can be such "high risk" issue.
If Outspark does not want "foregin" connection at thier servers they should never allow them at the first place but since they goes in global "modus" they <and we all> must accept fact that "non english" people will play here.
I can imagine anger of english speakers if for example such game will start in france and game owners will stated that main and ONLY language there will be french...
For me this issue is closed and i really have hope that we never reach point when people speaking of thier own language in game will be bann because of this...
