Why are you people playing this game? If there is anyone here over 18, please, come to a bigger and better MMO. Okay, it's a free MMO, I get it, but I have been playing MMO's since EverQuest beta back in 1998, and I have to say if you are an adult, please do not play this game. I have played Runescape when my main computer was being repaired, and as far as I can tell, there are as many kids in this game as there were in Runescape, and that honestly just ruins everything about the game. Granted, some kids understand how to play MMOs, but the bulk of them beg, whine, and don't understand how to turn off CAPS. So, if you have access to a credit card, or even PayPal, and you are a mature player, please try Lord of the Rings Online, or even the Everquest 2 free trial. Trust me, we'd love to see some more players and new faces in these games!

I am waiting for the Re-Vamp of Vanguard myself.I have been playing this for something to do in the meantime.It is easy to quickly outlevel the kiddies and get away from most of them( not all). But, if you are over 18, spend $40 on something bigger and MUCH better. Hey Banshee1234, i'm 22 as well, and i agree with what the others say. Why post anti-fiesta junk on the forums? I have access to paypal/CC's, and such. I have payed for MMO's before. But maybe you should think about what the others feel about it. Maybe they can't afford to pay for other mmo's, or maybe they don't want to pay at all. I agree your entitled to your own opinion. But trying to steal Outsparks Players is dirty pool, If you don't like the game. Just don't play it.

I have played EQ*, EQ2 and WOW .I am*still playing WOW.I happen to have a great time here. The GMs are the best and make the game that much more enjoyable. It's a nice break from the hardcore games and dungeons.

Actualy I think the first incorrect statement he made was "This is a free MMO". No actualy this is a closed beta test for an upcoming release of an MMO. Which I highly doubt will be free. I have been beta testing games for many years now and I have yet to get into one that dosent have more or less of it's share of whiners "They're gonna DELETE our characters?!!?!? OMFG NO WAY I HATE THIS GAME IT'S GARBAGE!!!" etc...etc...etc.... Unfortunately even with a closed beta you have to take everyone you can get unless you have the resources to implement an age check system and verification that people playing are actualy here to beta test and not just to play a game while it's "free".


Most of the people on the servers serve one of the more important purposes of simply stress testing the servers and software and communications system to see how much it will handle, simply by being on the server and playing. No matter what they are actualy doing on the server.


Your comments however about other games being better are at best biased and opinionated, and cannot seriously be used in comparison to this game, which, if it wasent clear enough before, is a BETA TEST right now.

o_o OP, relax. I'm an adult and... I like this game. It has more content than most free MMO's (meaning, stuff to do besides grinding.) I've played some EQ2, Flyff, RO, Maple Story and a few other betas that didn't catch my attention enough so I don't remember their names xD If its a game, there are bound to be kids, so get over it.

But Banshee, a F2P game can be just as good or better than P2P. But the only problem for the gamecreators for F2P is they don't have a good estimate of how much they'll be reeling in with the cashshops. So they often are a bit more careful. But there are quite a few cashshop games that make buckloads of money for new features etc. It's just that sometimes the teams are a bit whack.



I mean, I haven't played 2Moons, but I've heard it's great. And guess what, it's free, at least last time I heard from it. And from the videos I've seen, it's not really the kiddy game. And some other free games are coming up. Most with the cashshop system.

Banshee, this is just my speculation, but I think there'll barely be any P2P games anymore in a few years.

I'm just saying, the whole trilogy revolves around a few people needing to throw the ring in to a volcano. It's just walking and a fight here fight there. Why, oh why, did they have to throw it in that volcano where the evil lord is. Why not just throw it in any volcano/magma pool that isn't surrounded by evil warlords etc, it would still be lost for an eternity.



And one last note. Who was the brains behind hiring Ellijah for these movies? I mean, I've seen some of his other movies where he acted much better, but here it was just heartbreaking to see that someone could perform like that. And Orlando actually performed well for a change (yea, in Pirates he was ok too) but ever seen Calcium kid? I mean, if they hired him for his credentials then they really must have looked at the wrong file.

Shine Online IS Fiesta's Korean version. Bright Kingdom is the JP version. Both are free, and Fiesta will be free with a cash shop.

Zeratul, it's only temporary open to a bigger audience. And they probably even limited that for now. It was closed and random selection. But they might lower the limit again somehow. But I don't think that'll happen really.



Next step: CB3 or wipe and true open beta. With a smaller audience perhaps if it's CB3.

I saw in another post someone printed the items you could get in the shop in another version of this game from the orient and it dident look like TOO many things to make it unfair for people who can't afford the shop. I just started playing Fiesta last week. So far every player I've encountered has been in their mid to late 20's. For the most part I"ve been quite impressed with the player base so far.

I played EverQuest for around 3 1/2 years after it went public. I have tended to shy away from most of the MMORPGs out there because most people were just interested in Grinding and Phat lewt. Not my cup of tea.

This has to be the first MMORPG I've played or tried in years that has grasped my attention for longer than a few days. The fact I'm still here months later and enjoying it is testament for myself that is a game that I feel I can approve of as a casual gamer. I don't have 12-18 hours a day to play like a lot of folks. I'm happy if I can get in 2-3 hours a day. The fact I'm able to solo or pickup a group is also a + in my book
