Quest Start Item.

Just curious about whether or not anyone had information about these.
I was wandering around CP2 and found this:

I heard of someone finding one earlier... and couldn't do anything with it.
Is it another one of those things implemented into the game that currently doesn't have a use? (Like the numerous amounts of glitched quests out there.)
Im inclined to believe that its a rare item of sorts... but I can't activate it so it's seemingly useless.
Hopefully someone else has found something similar and can back me up.

The caption reads:

yep it is just go to GC and the gray mushrooms say Goblin Mushroms and there arent any quest for it .....yet,,

There ARE quests for goblin mushrooms, I had 1 or two, can't remember when; it was when I was a higher level.
And this wasn't a item that you could just farm, a monster dropped it.
It also doesn't say 'Quest Item' but 'Quest Start Item.'

I found some kind of cup the other day. Dropped from a weakened ogre. It said it was a quest start item and that I had to take it to healer Avon....So I did...Nothing happened....:confused::confused:

Also it would be awsome if that sort of stuff was here like random items that gave you a quest, on the other hand it would suck if you have my luck in drops so I would never get it.

A shame its bugged though, might wanne report to Gm.

I have the exact same item "Black Eyes", it dropped from a Cursed Sword in CP2.

I haven't got a clue what to do with it, but you're not alone in your confusion at least ^^...

Ya, it would be nice if the two of unlocked a unique quest :S.
Want to try it out, but oh well.

Some days ago I got two Tonics for Sick Ogres, too.
I've run to healer Avon... nothing.

I've asked GM Dakkon if the Quest Start Items are working, because I've never seen such an item before. He told me that they're theoretically working.
