please can someone stop them from ruinng the game

Just right click on their names and select 'block'. That, and use character hide mode when in towns.

well would have tried but the text was scrolling up so fast I couldnt get to do anything with it

Right click your face next to the HP/SP meters in the top left corner of the screen, and select 'Quit Party'

Turn normal chat off long enough to block them and then turn it back on. If you click on the tab for chat a box will pop up where you can click the bubble next to chat. Thats where you turn it on and off at.

ok I have learned how to turn the characters off but how do I turn them back on please

I left town and there are still no other characters showing in my game

You want to cancel character hide? Click Shift + Z again, though it should automatically disengage when you leave town. If people aren't showing back up, maybe graphics card is having trouble? That's a new one on me.

thanks the characters did show again after I went to sand beach...and no probs with the card I just thought that after I pressed the shift+z the second time the characters should have just reappeared but I got it sorted now
