Welcome to a New Day, a New Xen, and a New Wolves. We've Undergone some pretty massive updates, pushed through a lot of issues, and been tested already as a guild, but here we stand. I am proud to claim each and every wolf as a part of my strength, and in the same way, I hope they think of me in the same.

The Wolves of Xen is a guild built for profit from the Chaos of the Land. We stand to fight and help those around us, while making sure to profit and become stronger ourselves. We hold No Alignment, no quarrels, and no grudges, unless someone makes it a point to pick one with us. We are a guild built for strength, power, loyalty, and most of all, a great time. We enjoy helping not only each other, but those around us, and we strive for excellence in all areas of play. You'll constantly see us howling across the world to each other, sporting our colors with pride and strength, and always attempting to further the community by pushing the boundries of "standard" play.

Overall, we're a guild for having fun and getting a bit of profit as well as making great friends. I personally stand to think, that we come together as a team in amazing style. We play together, we fight together, we win together, and we learn together.

Basic Statistics

Number in Size: We Will maintain a guild number of 50, but the complications of not being able to increase our guild size, have forced us to keep a second branch open for now. Later, this will be used as extra storage.

Alignment: We Support Neither the Sides of Good nor the Factions of Evil, we stand more for the general profit of combat, and so I guess the best way to put it....We're Mercenaries.

Function: We have Three Basis of Business
• Contracting – If someone Wants Our Help to Say Win an Event, Protect them During Wartime, or Even to Help ‘Power Level’ Them, than they pay our hiring fee. It’s one of our distinguishing factors that set us apart from other guilds. Not to mention one of our money makers.
• Supply – As a part of the Wolves, you receive the Guild’s Support in Acquiring and Gaining Access to Items and Gear. Note on this, that you’ll only receive this benefit if you’re willing to help in the same way, and if you’re not willing to help your guild mates, than you’re probably not cut out for this guild.
• Unity in Arms – More than anything else, this guild is about having a great time together, and supporting each other in any way we can. We will stand united, and for all intents, be a not only a team, but a Brotherhood of Friends. We want to promote overall a good time amongst friends. So we can rejoice and celebrate every victory, and laugh and move on through every defeat. (Keep that One to a Minimal though LOL)

Expectations

--Decent Activeness in Game
--Able to Maintain Good Attendance When Required
--A Decent Presense in Guild Discussions or Events
--Let a Leader Know of Any Extended Leaves or Long Term Absences
--Keep Leveling, Our Requirements Will Rise As Time Passes...
--The Best Way I could put this would be this...
"Put in your best everyday, Guild and Otherwise, and It will be Returned to You."

Requirments For Entry

As should be Obvious, a Guild should need strength; but Strength of Level is only a small portion of that. Real Power is being able to comfort a fellow guild member when he/she is down. Able to work as a team and cooperate. The willingness to strive for excellence and success, both personally and for the guild.
• LV 60+ to Apply for Entry; LV 66+ for Full Wolf Acceptance
• No Negativity or Long Standing Drama Problems
• Positive Community Reputation (If it’s known or found out that you’re a KS’er, a PK'er, a Mobber, a scam artist, or any other negative feedback, than you will not be admitted)

Changed in This New Wolves, is our ranking. I will personally appoint 2 Leaders per branch as of now, and later, 5 Leaders when the Whole Guild is under the same banner. Each leader is intrusted with most of the guild's handlings, and as such, are fully capable of doing as they see fit as long as it is in the best interests of the guild. I will trust these individuals to carry out any orders I need, and will expect everyone to Respect them at ALL TIMES!!!

Other than that, we will be equils as We should be. Each of us will maintain and continue to uphold the Wolves of Xen as a Frontrunner Guild, and sense we all should help in this goal, we should be equils in the same reguard. No More Beta's, or Alpha's, I'll trust each of you, and as such, I would have you all trust in me.

Rules of the Guild

1. No Un-Neccessary Drama (If it can be solved without full guild intervention, than leave it out)
2. No Immaturity or Violation of the Game Rules
3. Be Respectful of Each Other
4. Respect Decisions Made by a Leader
5. Loyalty and Honesty In All Aspects
6. Know Why You're a Wolf, and Follow It
7. HAVE FUN!!!! IT'S STILL A GAME!!! XD

System of Removal

3 Strike Law--Violation of Any Rule Will Result in an Infraction or Strike Being Place Against You
--3 Strikes of Any Sort, and You'll Be Immediatly Ejected From The Guild, No Warnings
--If You are Ejected Due to This, You will Not Recieve Compensation of Any Sort
--Strikes Expire Based on Good Behavior and Time
To make this simple, I'm placing a 3 Strike rule, and if after you've accumulated 3 strikes, I'll release you from the pack, with no option to return.

This is all so exciting. I work Monday-Friday 6:15pm-10:15pm est so wouldn't be able to make meetings at those times.
I would be honored to be a leader and would put all my efforts into our guild. I am currently going through some medical issues that my closest friends know about and I consider my guild my closest friends so I can share with you all. I may have a heart condition that is preventing me from being all I can be in game.

LOL, i love the feedback i get around here. KK, few things. The Sample Pics are still full prototype, so don't worry bout the size, it'll be changed in the final go round. Glad this one got some good feedback.

As to the Alpha and Omega ranking things, well this is a bit strange, but when it comes to a Wolf Pack Hierachy, this is actually how it works. The Alpha's command the pack, and the Omega is the (pretty much) weakest or newest of the pack. So, that was the thought behind that.

Now the Big News, Welcome mikoto no, or as I've heard you say you like to be called miko, Our Newest Wolf of Xen.

BTW, one last thing. Guild Lvl Entry Requirements are starting at 45+. Someday in the future we may raise that, but for now, I think 45 is a great place to start. More Info to follow...

KK, so as dylan posted above, I was aoe'ing yesterday, same as ever for me, than It sort of became a bigger and bigger party until finally, we had for the first time a full party of Wolves. Since I started this game i've kinda felt like a lone wolf most of the time. I'm glad that i finally found a pack where i might fit in.

Trust me, i'm no artist, just good with design, so please, if you can draw or think you can make one, than post it here. If it get's some good feedback, than it'll be included in the vote for Official Wolf of Xen emblem.

I'd now like to say, than nominations for beta and alpha have really started to catch on, so I figured I'd post the "How to Become..." portion now.

Our first alpha's will be voted in by popular vote. Front page will show who has a nomination, and who doesn't. Beta's are chosen by each alpha, who picks them from his or her pack, but must be approved by majority vote of each pack. SO, now the other portion. Beta's and Alpha's, just as in a Wolf Hierarchy, can be replaced and ranked through different means and methods. The most obvious is combat, but sense we are not a kill only type guild, and lvl shouldn't be the only determining factor in who leads, a Challenge System, will be designed. This means that if you believe that you are more suited to lead a pack than either a beta, or in an already beta's case, an alpha, than you go to one of the other pack leaders, either myself or the the other alpha, and say you'd like to contest for either beta or alpha positon. This challenge will be decided at a guild meeting, where every wolf will vote and decide as to if you're going to be up to the challenge. If it is widely believed you have a right to contest, than you will be granted a chance to take rank.

The Challenges for Beta and Alpha differ, and neither is fully designed, but here is the basics of it.

Alpha Challenges will test 5 Areas, and the winner of most of those sections, wins the challenge. The tested areas are:
Power: Both in Combat and Not.
Leadership: How well you can keep a party functioning WELL for as long as possible?
Prowess: How well you know not only your skills, but your enemies as well.
Contrabution: How well have you helped your guildmates?
Reputation: Which of you is known better, and who's reputation reflects a positive feedback?
You may knowtice, that the higher your lvl, the better chance you have of succeeding as an alpha. This doesn't mean alphas will always be high lvl, it just stands that they are more likely to succeed at challenging for a positon.

Beta Challenges will test 3 Areas, and, just like alpha, majority winner takes the spot. The tested areas for Beta's are:
Power: Both in Combat and Not
Leadership: How well can you keep a party functioning WELL for as long as possible?
Contrabution: How well have you helped your guildmates?
Again, the higher your lvl, the easier it is to succed as a beta.

**REMEMBER THESE NEXT WORDS FOR THEY ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THIS GUILD**

If you lose your rank, or fail to win a challenge, I encourage you to not be disheartened. This only means you need to push harder for your rank. Alphas as well, if a beta you chose is de ranked, be prepaired to accept and embrace any new beta, for if I hear any word of badmouthing or flaming against any other guild member for whatever reason, if it is proved that the accusation is true, I will have no qualms about dismissing you. We are all here to have FUN, cause no matter how you split it, this is a GAME!!! So that being said, I'll go ahead and leave this topic here. Feel free to lay down ideas or thoughts about it if you'd like.

Thought I'd finally post where we'll meet for the Mission One. 1 hour prior to the awakening's beginning, we'll meet at our guild headquarters. A few of you know where this is, but for those who don't, allow me to tell ya now where that is.

Go West from Essene, and Head that way till you reach a map called Brolly Basin. That for all intents and perposes, is the Wolf Den as it was. Probably remember that, cause it'll be where we'll have our guild meetings as well.

I would like to propose an aco adoption system. The basic idea is once the guild system goes in, the guild with the best and the strongest aco's will be the strongest.
Basicly the idea is to have somone be the treasurer, using a second dummy character (like a mule) that whenever someone in the guild wants to donate a skill book or an ap weapon or gear or kron to contact the person in charge and trade the donation to them. Then that person distrubutes donations based on need, on an hororary system. I am willing to put up 1,000,000 kron to start the fund, as long as I dont have to be treasurer. Also, the treasurer should not be an aco, so as to avoid a conflict of interest.

Maybe each pack could have a treasurer and there would be a head treasurer that would cordinate if some one in another pack needed something and mod if more than one person needs the equip. If it was only related to one pack the pack treasurer could handle it.

Ex. Pack A treasurer has a sword of Sun +3/4AP two people want, one from pack A and one from pack B, The head one should step and figure out who to give it too(maybe have some kind of test to see who would deserve it more.) to prevent favoritism of packs.

Treasury huh, ok, I see where you're all goin, and honestly, I love the trust already forming. I really thought this step would be a hard one to make, and you all are already proving far better than I'd ever hoped. Yet let me go ahead and set it to this at the moment. I'd like to hold off on guild treasuries and storages untill the Guild System is released in the first week of May. Don't take it wrong, I really enjoy hearing these ideas, and I'd like to continue to hear it, so keep postin.

And as for the treasury, yes, there's a lot of trust here, but somewhere along the road, I can definitely see something bad happening with that =/

I just know that one day, someone is going to donate something that they'll want back in the future and then when they finally want it back someone else will want it also and then there will be this huge fight going on -.-'

The one who donated it will keep saying "It was mine to begin with and I need it." and the other one who wants it will say "If you knew you were going to need it, you shouldn't have donated it. It belongs to the guild now, not to you!" And then someone will end up getting mad and leaving or possibly trying to get GMs involved and it will be this whole sticky mess until we're forced to close down the treasury by rider or break or something =/

Good idea, but I don't think exactly everyone is ready for something like that.

Any suggestions on what to do with gear we are currently in? I have some really good gear +1+6ap stuff, +1 +4ap (instinct gear) and a +5 +6ap White Dagger that I purchased from other players, and would like to hand them down to other wolves when I move into my next level gear. The issue is I committed economic suicide by buying these items. The dagger alone was 4 mil. So I am not in a position to purchase my new equipment just yet, and again would rather hand my stuff down then to sell it to other guilds/players.

Ok I am going to throw in my two cents on the treasurer idea. I like the idea of kron treasurer but not so much of the equips. Let me explain...if as already mentioned someone passes down some equips to a needed wolf they are going to expect that gear back until no one in the guild needs it any longer. There may be feelings hurt if someone says that it was passed to the guild so it doesn't belong to you any longer. I would like to say that it does still belong to that original person and a written place as on the forums between all guild members stating once something is passed around the original person gets it back for their own financial gain. We can keep track of who gives what to whom to use. Now Im not talking a low lvl gear here but something that would make a player a mil should not just be given without something in return.

I think we should all say an agreement that if you are removed from the guild or quit on your own accord that item that was kindly donated for your USE should be returned to the original player or you do face consequences from the GM's and with that being written out here there will be proof that you agreed to it.

I am so excited to see Wiser and Sawyer here. I am also excited to say that I am going to request Friday off from work so WILL be attending the awakening

Ok Dylan, I like your method :3 And as such, I'd like to petition the right to be treasurer O.o

I've got an idea to make a whole new account to serve as a "bank" for the guild. I'll keep track of who borrows what and whether or not they replaced it and if they haven't replaced it when they have no need of it anymore, I will keep track of that and once they have too many violations, I will petition the removal of that person from the pack.

Also, I'll share the bank's password with you and Omni just in case something should happen or something.

I think a dummy email address and a dummy account might work. could put the dummy character at the guild meeting spot so if someone needs something, Guild leaders could log on and pass out some items.

EDIT: We should wait and see what the new guild system will bring to the game first.. we may have a guild hotel/bank with unlimited deposits and limited withdraws.. that would work out perfectly..

If we dont get a hotel/bank for the guild, i agree with Snuffy and vote for her to manage the account... we could have two ways to use the account (maybe two different chars for them): to lend items to the guild (so theyll return to the hands of the original owner) and to give items to the guild (once in the account, can be borrowed for all the members and wont come back to the hands of the owner... this could apply for skill books).

As Omnis said, we have to wait for the guild system to come out tho.

Being stuck using the 'Wonderful' health pots that the GMs have given us, is a bad idea everytime, and Personally, I'd like to see 3 to even 4 Healers per pack. Not saying run out and grab just anyone, aco's are an elyte. We need to recruit aco/clerics who really know what they're doin, and can handle healing really well. So, be on the lookout...

If you haven't knowticed yet, we'll be having our first guild event this friday at the awakening. The plan will be to meet at Brolly Basin, our hq, one hour prior to the event starting. Looks like i started a storm. I like the idea of a total dummy acount, plus 2 people having access to it. In fact 2 people would work better than one (because 2 people will keep each other honest) but more than 2 could be a disaster (because noone would know who was doing what). Omnis should be one becuase he is guild leader and then someone that is either voted in majority by the members or by the pack leaders.

While I'm On recruitment though, I'd like to annouce a Healer Recruitment Drive!!! Get some good well skilled healers and get em in here. As of now, we look to be short handed on healing by quite a bit.

We're filling up quite quickly, but the applications keep pouring in. So I'm almost ready to start up the training coarse. This is listed in the guidlines for entry, and everyone needs to take it. I first tested it on hasqual, so if ya wanna know if it's difficult or annoying, ask him. It'll be tweaked a bit sense than, but mostly the same. I'll just ask ya as i see ya to take it, this will make sure we get top of the line recruits. It also lets me see where your strengths are, and where you'll need some work. We all need to continue training and learning, myself included. I have decided though, that anyone who shows up to the awakening this friday, and is in a wolf party, will take their exams just from me watching during. No Biggie.

Mostly because, I want some new gears, but what I'm really looking for is to get to LV 86. Some of u know why this lvl, others don't. In other news, long day complaining. Now I'm not third tier...workin hard to be, but not quite there yet. I've heard today that they are delaying the 3rd Tier (again) and honestly, I'm disappointed. I was so looking forward to seeing dust blade, fire swing, volcano, ect. I'm a tech hound, and honestly, ever sense i got shots of Shock Troops and Light Masque from Alastor, I've become obsessed with seeing more advanced techniques. (if ya want me to post those I will btw)

Well I'm a new recruit of The Wolves of Xen, hehe, and I know some of you.
So, I'm a rogue currently aoeing in Realto plains and doing fine. Well, I know i have to help lower fellow wolfs but I would also like to be helped by higher ups. Why? Well, leveling alone is quite boring and even AoE aftera while gets boring, I like to party, then I can unleash all the humour in you ^^.

Also I would like to apply for Beta position, and if people would like to, though as I know many, many dont know me, for Alpha.

Unfortunately, Im only able to play top 4 hours a day, not every day. Reason? I study medicine and its not easy so sometimes i have to drop the game for study, though i'm pretty smart :P

That's also the reason why i wanted to be helped by higher ups too.

I love the idea of our organisation be based on wolves and the mercenary bussiness thing. Also I can give some money to the guild :P I have right now some Instinct Gear. I can't sell the dagger cause it already has a buyer.

Sandstorm is at lvl 81. And Sandstorm stuns then scares away all mobs within range so if anything Sandstorm is a lifesaver. Like when an aco disconnects during AoEing.

Yeah today was a really fun day. I"ve been partying with wolves for almost 12 straight hours and got level 64 today thanks to you guys.:D Yeah if you want to party just hook me up and I"ll see what I can do for you. A day late, but trust me, that's a good thing. My internet freaked right after the awakening. All fixed now, but still, could've been bad.

Alright, I have to say, that I was amazingly impressed at all the wolves who attended the awakening!!! The teamwork and comrodery shown, was spectacular. I saw howls coming from all over, and people were chanting and yelling, a real specticle of our ability to come together as a team. So to all wolves that showed, you already know this, but you are all now OFFICIAL and complete Wolves of Xen.

Special honors for this event go to ARNOTA, dylanangel1, sophronia, -=Hack=-, Sawyer, Kagada, mikoto no, and hasqual. These wolves in particular displayed true potential and overall skill in chaotic combat. Well done!!!

It is confurmed from Break, what the requirements for opening and establishing a guild will be in SoS. (Drum Roll Please)
10M kron and a special rare item that hasn't been announced as of yet. Now I see no problems obtaining the item, because honestly, if all of us can't get it together, than that is one h*ll of an item. The 10 M kron on the other hand, is a bit pricy, but at least it's not sparkcash. As such, we'll have a fundraiser, a donation system to establish the Wolves. I've created a Mule Donation Character, to house donations. I personally will probably be supplying more than 1/2 of this amount, as that it will be my responciblity as Pack Master, to ensure our guild's creation. IF, you'd like to donate any amount, please send me a private message in the forums. In time, this will most likely be remade, as well as a large profit...(We Are Mercenaries after all)

Secondly, I'd like to point out that Guilds POSSIBLY may be in with the next patch. It's not confermed, so don't quote me. I'd like anyone who can dig up any information on #Allowed, the Quest Item Needed, or Anything Else of the Sort, to post some info up in here.

I'll be plannning our first guild meeting and a bit of a party soon. Expect a couple of prizes, and our first ever council vote. We'll decide who will be our alphas and our betas soon too. My next emblem design will be Up on Monday, so watch for it. Have Fun Wolves, and Good Trails.
